Traditional but stylish designer dresses for the low-risk bride..
The Duds
Elegant, expensive, leaning towards conservative. You won't find anything too out-of-the-ordinary at Saks--just timeless gowns that exude class and style. Most dresses are made of silk organza or silk satin and the designers are just as fine (Amsale, Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Reem Acra and the like). Sure, you'll pay at least $3000 for a Saks gown--but you'll look like a million bucks.
The Service
In this case, high-end price tags don't equal stuffy service. The staff is helpful, but hands-off; knowledgeable, but not overly aggressive. You can choose from about 100 dresses in stock--or attend one of Saks' bridal trunk shows and they'll special order any dress you see there.
