Strangest service ever. Showed up with a group without a reservation, but were seated and not told this was a problem. But they lost one of the orders, which never was brought even when they realized it. Their attitude: it was our fault for coming without a reservation - what did we expect. At least they didn't charge us for lost order. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR GROUPS. Never had a restaurant say it was not their fault that they lost the order.

Healthy and Delicious!. I've gone there a few times and loved the food every time. The portions are good and everything tastes so healthy and fresh. I never feel guilty after eating there. My husband loves it too, we took our in-laws and they raved about it. The drinks are great too.

Americanized Asian. The food was very good, but a bit bland in comparison to what I expected. I've traveled Southeast Asia, and they use their spices very liberally. Here, there was very little extra. The portions were nicely sized, my lunch could've been dinner very easily.

From a Vietnamese person...not recommended. I was rather disappointed with the food at this restaurant. Yes, there are fresh vegetables (this is a staple of Vietnamese food) but to someone who grew up with parents from Vietnam, the food was rather bland and without with complex flavor that comes from the combination of seasonings and herbs. I'd recommend Mai Lee on Delmar or Pho Grand on Grand any day over Little Saigon.

Friendly staff, excellent food, low cost. The staff was very accomodating to a tired traveller arriving at their restaurant relatively late--not to mention one who had never had Vietnamese food before!

The food was excellent--fairly simple fare, but well executed. I had the vegetarian spring rolls (not the crispy ones), which were very tasty, with a nice soy sauce dip. You could actually taste the raw vegetables! I also had the beef cubes with onions and pepper. This is a pretty simple dish, hard to mess up, but also one that not many places truly excel at. Little Saigon excels at it. The meat was very tasty on its own, but the sauce they had with it took it up to the next level.

I even got out of there for around $25 for one!

$$, small servings.. A friend recommended LS to me after I complained loudly about the sparsity of decent, reasonably priced Asian food. It was much more convenient than Pho Grand in terms of location. However, the menu is small and to my chagrin, a bowl of pho cost $7. Definitely beyond "$" range IMO. When the meal came, my surprise was compounded by the tiny portions I was getting. Did I order a Happy Meal, because if they're going to give me a dinky bowl of pho for $7, I hope I'm also getting a toy.

Must try!. Great place! All of my friends that I have reccomended it to have loved it! The Chicken Curry is amazing! The Soups are a meal in themselves. The food is not too heavy and very healthy! Even my vegetarian friends leave satisfied!

Offers little reason to stray from South Grand Boulevard, St. Louis' Asian food Mecca.. The Scene
Like many restaurants in the Central West End with storefront windows, Little Saigon makes for ideal people watching in one of St. Louis' most colorful neighborhoods. Muted colors on the walls and floor and the absence of knickknacks make for a pleasing minimalist space that's relatively large and comfortable.

The Food
While you may equate Vietnamese food with impossibly cheap prices and plenty of vegetarian selections, you'll find that Little Saigon's prices reflect its high-rent area and that its menu caters to carnivores. In fact, pepperoni makes its way into the soft spring rolls, and most of the appetizers and entrees feature meat or fish. Try the crabmeat-and-asparagus soup or the Vietnamese fish in a clay pot. The latter is just that: catfish cooked in traditional fish sauce, both salty and sweet, served with white rice. Pineapple fried rice with chicken will disappoint those who crave spice and prefer their shrimp fresh, not frozen. Since Little Saigon doesn't yet have a liquor license, try an avocado smoothie or fresh lemonade to quench your thirst. The green tea ice cream was the most memorable part of the meal.

Nice find.. Good food! I'm Vietnamese/Chinese and I'm really too pick about Asian restaurants, I hate buffets, etc... But this place serves Vietnamese food well! Prompt service, roomy, nice view and quick food (if you want it to be)!

Brie's rate-o-meter. This resturant is small but have the best of every thing else. the steak is so good my whole family orderd it but if your a vegitarian you would want noodle soup.
