A St. Louis tradition. I like to go to bars with a neighborhood feel & Sundeckers is just that. Great place to people watch & enjoy a cocktail or two.

Every good burger deserves its day in the sun.. The Scene
It's 10:50am on a sunny summer day, and a steady stream of downtown folks looking for lunch are making their way toward Sundecker's deck. By 11:15 all the tables outside will be full. The deck itself is a humble affair, worn wood on stilts overlooking an iron sculpture of a boat hull and, beyond that, the Mississippi. Inside you'll well-worn wood floors and a handsome vintage bar.

The Food
You can't beat the burger here, especially when it's eaten on the deck, in the sun, with a cold beer. The patty is flavorful, juicy and served on a soft bun. Condiments are just inside the deck door in a serve-yourself, salad-bar-type buffet: onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles. Pile on as much as you want, douse with ketchup and mustard, and savor. The rest of the stuff on the menu has a decent reputation--chicken wings, chicken sandwiches and other bar food--but the burger's the best.

Office Manger. Sundeckers was a great place to hang out and have a great burger. Good place to go after a Cardinals game. Cool place to cool off and have a drink with friends. Enjoyed the food and the atsmophere greatly. I would recomend it to anyone who is trying to find a place that is not too noisy but not off the beaten path. The outdoor deck is great for people watching and anything else you want to do.
