Stonewater Sinks Like a Rock

I was a frequent visitor to The Green Door for years and I loved it. It was always a bit pricey, but at least I had experienced professionals to lean on. The staff at what is now called Stonewater Spa is not knowledgable or experienced. The quality of the massage I recieved was horrible. I felt rushed and on a strict timetable. The facialist tried to sell me everything but the bathroom sink and I felt that she too was in a hurry.My experience was very disappointing. I called the facility to speak to the General Manager, but she never returned my phonecalls so I guess she doesn't care either, that an old lady like me was unsattified. Bring back The Green door!

What a rip off it is!

I used to visit this spa when it was the Green Door, but is now a chain-spa from east coast and it shows. The place has lost its luster and glamour. Decor felt cold & medicinal, desk staff immature and inexperienced, new menu with much higher prices and shortened service times. Products for sale i never heard of and prices ridiculous on many items. My facial was very humdrum, but she kept pushing products. Massage was a joke - she must has just gotten out of school, mediocre technique, and she too was pushing me to buy products. It's now become the "burker-king" of the st. louis spa scene. A big let down. Looks like a lot of the experienced crew from the earlier years have all left. What a shame!
