Terrible Service - Food - Overpriced. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Some of the food is good bar food, some is terrible (i.e. frozen Sam's Club stuff) priced too high. Service was rude and slow. One the few times in our lives that we left a below average tip. Waitress chased after us outside to rudely ask why she got such a bad tip. We gave her a list, i.e. we had to get all of our drinks and condiments from the bar, she was slow, never delivered one of our meals, literally threw our plates on the table, brought a soda with her finger IN IT! She never stopped by to check on us, etc. We had more, but she argued with us on every point right there in the parking lot. It took forever to get rid of her. We would have spoken to the manager about it, but we had a customer with us and it was an embarrassing enough experience.

Have had better service at Schottzie's in the past from other servers, but never very good service.

Great pizza and wings. We go to Schottzie's a lot, at least twice a month, and the pizza and wings can't be beat. The wings are little, which I love and the pizza has a great sauce, very tasty. It does get really crowded, but that's part of the bar atmosphere, it's a fun, casual place with good food. I've never waited longer than 5 minutes to get a table. I have to say I like the South County location much better though.

A must-try. We love Schottzies!!!! They have the best pizza and salad (dressing made from scratch) in St. Louis- seriously. You do not, however, go to this place for the service, "It aint great". If you can get past the extremely crowded interior and slow service, this is well worth the trip!!
