I was recently in for an emergency visit, which resulted in a root canal. Although the root canal was highly recommended, I was on a tight budget, and didn't think I could afford it.

the dentist recommended other options that were in my budget, including an extraction. If I were to have my tooth extracted, it would affect my smile line, and I was very concerned about that, since I am getting married in a few weeks. When I expressed concerns about the cost, the staff came up with several options to still help me get the root canal without having to go with an extraction I didn't really want.

I am extremely difficult to numb, but the techniques used to get me numbed were wonderful and put me at ease. I did not feel a single thing during the process, and the dentist made sure I was 100% comfortable during the entire process. I also made the staff aware that I needed to be at work by a certain time for my work bridal shower... not only was the process completed, and painlessly, but I did not have much discomfort afterward. Being pregnant, the only thing that I can take is Tylenol, and I only had to take one.

I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone who has the slightest anxiety about dentists. Dr. Bilucky was awesome, as was the assistant (whose name escapes me, but she has a special place for me for making me so very comfortable and at ease before, during and after the procedure).

Dental bills can be extremely expensive, and a root canal is not cheap, but this place made it affordable for my situation while still keeping my oral health at the forefront.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with this office. I'm new to St. Louis, so when I needed a replacement NTI mouth guard, I went on the NTI website and did a search for local providers. I ended up choosing Dr. Brace's office (I think based on their website) and I'm very glad I did.

Dr. Grayem did my NTI and it was finished to take home at the end of the visit! This is great because many offices have to send them out to be finished and you have wait a couple of weeks to get them back. When I got home and tried the guard that night, it didn't feel right, and I called the office to let them know (nervous as to whether they would be receptive, or just think I was complaining). They fit me in THAT DAY, and Dr. Grayem was able to fix my guard. These are $500+ guards, so I was happy that he didn't ask questions and just fixed it for me. They assured me they wanted me to be happy with the product and if I had any other problems to let me know.

After that wonderful experience I decided to go for a cleaning. It was quick, painless and thorough. My hygienist was competent and friendly (I think her name was Stacy?).

I would not hesitate to recommend this office to friends or colleagues.

I would highly recommend Dr. Brace's office to anyone who has dental anxiety. The staff is very nice, helpful and courteous. They have always taken the time to make sure I was comfortable, didn't get aggravated when I gagged on bite wings for X-rays and always let me take a mini break when I needed it to relax. My dental hygiene is actually improving since I started seeing Dr. Grayem (an associate in the office) and I actually look forward to going to the dentist!

I was visiting family in St. Louis over Fourth of July weekend. I woke up the morning with a swollen lower jaw and fear of having an abcesed tooth. I knew the matter couldn't wait 3 days before I returned to my hometown, so after taking my sons to lunch at a nearby restaurant, I walked past Dr. Brace's office and knew I had to at least give it a shot to see if I could get treated. It was clearly a busy day when I walked in, but after explaining my situation, the woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and attentitve. Within about 10 minutes I was filling out paperwork, and a few minutes later I was taken to a room. The dentist personally came by and told me he was aware of my situation and said he would be with me as soon as he got a free moment from working with regularly scheduled patients. He and his assistants answered all of my questions, offered advice for the rest of the weekend and what to tell my dentist when I returned home. They also emailed my xrays before I even left the office so I would have them to show my dentist. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. If I was a resident of the St. Louis area, I would not hesitate for a second to bring my family to this office. Thank you!

I finally have a dentist for life!. I needed my first root canal and went to my husbands dentist whom I'd never been too. For many reasons I'll never go back! In desperation I asked friends for recommendations and one went on and on about Dr. Brace's office and their amazing staff (she said they were like family!) Not only were they able to get me in to finish my temporary crown and fit me for a permanent one, their office was fresh and clean and relaxing and actually their staff was exactly the same way! I had no idea I would ENJOY going to the dentist!! Thank you all so very much!

So happy to find our new dentist!!. I called Dr. Brace's office inquiring about a second opinion. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful ( I wish I could remember her name). I was given an appointment in just a couple of days. I saw Dr. Bileckey and it was just like I had been a patient there forever. The staff was so professional and personable. I did not need nearly the work I was told by another dentist I needed. I am looking forward to a new relationship with my new dentist!!!

Questionable Practices. After being examined by Dr. Brace in his Kirkwood office my niece returned home to state she had nine cavities and that Dr. Brace stated they should be attended to.(Interestingly, all reported cavities were on the top surfaces of varied teeth, which precludes them from showing on xrays.) A thorough examination several weeks later by another certified Dentist/Orthodontist stated that she did not have any cavities. I have a letter attesting to the follow up conducted, but yet have filed a formal complaint.

Fantastic Family Friendly Dentists. I've been with Dr Brace and Associates for more than 20 years. I've seen Dr Brace; I've seen Dr Grayem; I've seen a few of the other doctors that have been in the practice over the years. I'm always greated at the door with smiles. I'm always treated with respect.

My kids have been going here since they were babies. The office staff and the doctors always makes them feel very comfortable, and we've never had anxiety issues with the dentist, like most kids.

There was one time, 10+ years ago, I had a toothache. I contacted the office and talked to Dr Brace personally. It was late on a Friday, the pain wasn't bad, just nagging, so we determined an office visit could wait until Monday. Dr Brace gave me his personal cell phone number to call him over the weekend if the pain worsened. Not many doctors want to be bothered on off hours, much less give you their personal cell phone number! Now that's service!

I highly recommend Dr Brace and Associates to patients of every age! You won't be sorry.

Best Dentist. After 6 years since I had been to the denist I was very nervous for this emergency visit. My teeth leave a lot to be desired and have been a source of embarrassment and shame for many years. I have been to a couple of different dentists who have belittled me, one even told me that I would be lucky to fall and knock out all of my teeth. Needless to say, due to my past experience, I was not looking forward to my visit.

Imagine my surprise and delight when I was welcomed to the office with smiles and encouragement from everyone at the reception desk. Terri sat with me the entire time and gave nothing but support and "you can do it" kind of words, along with tissues for my nervous tears! Dr. Grayem was patient, he listened to me, and he never judged. I apologized over and over for being emotional, nervous, for the state of my teeth. He simply said what I needed to hear - There isn't anything to be sorry about. You are here, these are fixable, and let's get started!

I left their office feeling relieved and empowered. I am ready to commit for a healthier smile. I truly feel like the office and I are on team to find my successful dental story! For the first time in decades, I am excited about going back and putting together a game plan with them.

I highly recommend this office and this dentist. The support staff is amazing - they are calm, gentle, kind, and want you to be comfortable.

Shady. shady practice, they tell you that a procedure is covered under your insurance. Then I was sent a $500 bill saying that it wasn't. I will never be back and believe that this practice is very unethical. All they care about is making their doc rich, I really didn't even need the procedure the more I research with other physicians.
