I think the other reviews must have been from the owner. VERY bland food, poor service. We had a certificate from KSDK. My wife and I figured we could use it up with food and drinks. No go on the drinks, they lost their liquer license. So now we have to get $50.00 worth of food for 2 people. We ordered some food to go, they try to tell me you can't do that with the certificate. It didn't say that anywere on there, plus they were serving liquer when we purchased it. After some arguing, and talking to someone on the phone, they act like they are doing me a favor by letting me take food home. Then they tried to over charge me! I'm sure they'll be out of business in a few months.

Good, but not what I hoped to find. El Burrito Loco is generous with their portions, and the quality is decent, but this is not the burrito I hoped to find.

The Loco Burrito is big--so big they don't really wrap it like a burrito. You need to eat it with a knife and fork. Part of the reason it's so huge is that it's stuffed with rice, which is NOT part of a traditional Burrito.

They also didn't have steak, which was a disappointment. The shredded beef was good, but Asada was not an option.

The ingredients were fine, and like I said, the portion was certainly generous, but this was in no way like my favorites when I lived in Chicago--namely La Pasadita, which is my fav or Tony's in Roscoe Village.

Not bad, but far from the best burrito I ever had

Great Deal. This Authentic Mexican establishment is truly off the beaten path but well worth the trip. The seating is very limited and the ambiance is very simple. The real attraction is the fresh ingredients, large portions, low prices and friendly staff. Just a few block from Ted Drew's S. Grand location for dessert!

No hype here! Just great food at great price!
