The employees at Purple Cow are super unfriendly. I am never greeted even if eye contact is made. I am never asked if I need help. Their selection is very limited. If you do happen to find something you like it will probably be a great brand but the price shows. I would rather buy new clothes from Children's Place or Gymboree for less than used Baby Nay or Janie and Jack. It doesn't matter what brand it is, I will never pay $20 for a used kids garment!!! Check it out though and you will see for yourself!

a great resale shop

O.k. So I love resale shops!! When your little ones grow out of things so quickly who wants to pay enormous prices. Purple Cow allows you to dress your prince or princess to the nines and pay a fraction of the cost. This shop has a great variety of styles and brands and the ladies that work there are so friendly. Be aware that the prices are higher than most other consignments though, but so is the quality .

• Pros: Great Service, Upscale brands
• Cons: pricey for second hand clothing.

Friendly & nice selection

I visited a couple of maternity consignment stores before this one and was disappointed to see faded, worn out clothes. Sure I?m trying to save money, but I still want to look good! I was extremely pleased with the quality available in this store. It?s obvious they?re picky about what they buy. I was able to find several affordable pieces here; though you?ll definitely pay more for the higher end labels it?s still far less than new in an upscale boutique though.

They offer a wish list online where you can request they contact you when they get in specific items. The friendly ladies working in the store told me the wish list is active for 60 days. This is a nice bonus when so many places force the customer to keep checking back for a desired item.
