try dominos instead. there is no getting around the fact that this place is a dump.Service was horrble but it outshone the pizza which was inedible. If you want to find good pizza in st. louis steer clear of this place.unless you enjoy being treated rudely, throwing your hard earned money away or have no taste buds i suggest dominoes instead

Not worth the trip. I travel and frequent Racanelli's Pizzeria in Rye Brook NY, and I thought Racanelli's in St. Louis was going to be of the same quality and took my family there because of how much I touted the one in NY. I was extremely disappointed. There was supposed to be a brick oven, but the guy behind the counter said "There are bricks in the oven." I could have gone to Pizza Hut, Domino's or even Pizza John's and had a better Pizza. I would not waste your time or money at this Racanelli's. I have nothing to do with the Racanelli?s in NY, but if you are ever in the area, go there and have a real brick oven pizza.

For the people saying it is a taste of their NY home, they need to go back to NY to get reacquainted with the taste of what they really miss, then come back and then amend their review.

A Taste of NYC. Being a native NY'er, I came to St. Louis and was disgusted by their take on pizza. Craving the pizza parlors from home, I came across Racanelli's and I felt right at home. The pizza slices where large, thin and tasted delicious right down to the just barley overcooked crust. I don't have an opinion about any of the other choices because I've only gone there for the pizza. I would avoid delivery because it usually takes a long time and you could be put on hold for a bit due to the fact that there is only 2 or 3 workers there at a time. I recommend dining in especially during warmer weather because they offer outdoor seating along Euclid Ave. which almost makes me feel like I'm back in the city.

So if you want some REAL NY style pizza this is the place to go. I've only been to the Euclid location so I can't speak for any of the other spots, but I'm sure they are just as good.

Horrible customer service. I've eaten the pizza before and it's okay but there customer service is horrible. I called to have a delivery made and the girl left me on hold for 7 mins and yes I can tell how long because my cell phone has a timer. I thought they had forgotten about me and so I called back and she asked if she could put me back on hold and I said for 7 mins again? She replied snotty ""it hasn't been 7 mins ma'am". I won't eat at a place that has basic food with terrible customer service. Forget it!!!!

Great pizza, good service, best delivery service. New website www, racanellis, com

New York Style is the best; none of that icky Provel, only MOZZARELLA on this baby! Fresh veges and good meat, and other quality ingredients; crust baked to order. Having moved from Chi-town to STL, this is the best we found so far for quality. Prices are good, mention the online "$2.00 off any pizza" coupon when ordering. Credit is accepted, and there's delivery (there's one near you wherever you live). Calzones are good too, so is the Garlic bread. Soda is over-priced, just get your own. Other than that, it's our favorite, why waste our taste buds on Pizza Hut?

Best St. Louis Pizza?. Who do they poll for these reviews? Lets get a bunch of people from New York to write some reviews on what people from St. Louis like...OK! Favorite St. Louis team, Yankees. Attraction? hmmm, tough one, how about Radio City. Get serious people, we have more crime and better pizza here in St. Louis. I would suggest that an outsider try Imo's just because you can easily find one. However, if you want very good pizza head to Ponticello's in North County. That's good stuff.

For when Imo's isn't what you're looking for.... Sometimes Imo's isn't the pizza you're looking for...

Or

You're from the East Coast and like how pizza is done.

If you call ahead, tell them you have a $2 off coupon. They'll discount it without asking for the coupon. If they say 20 minutes, it'll only take 15, so pick it up earlier, rather than later than they say.

Going Down?. Familiar with place for 10 years. Went summer of 05 for slices only. The first 2 pieces were all burnt on the bottom; returned and got 2 more equally burnt. What can I say? The servers couldn't speak good English and, obviously, can't make good pizza. A shame, really, as it used to be good

pizza. And , yes, the best pizza is in NJ where I grew up!!
