Decent Sushi, Nonexistent Waitstaff. Sushi was tasty and fresh. Prices were relatively inexpensive, but portions were a bit on the small side. I would even say that the sushi chef was a bit skimpy on the tuna and red snapper portions in the spicy rolls. Restaurant was not busy, but we ended up having to go up to the sushi bar to place our orders.

Neighborhood sushi. With all of the reserved or trying to be hip sushi bars around, this place feels low-scale comfortable. Small, with only ten tables and six seats at the sushi bar. The sushi is quite good, with the biggest complaint being the very small neta (topping) on the nigiri. Granted, in a traditional sushi bar it may be this small, but the prices should reflect this and/or should have the traditional two pieces per order. The rice's texture was great but the seasoning is a little strong. Very relaxed and attentive service. I'll have to try the $1 sushi nights.

Suprisingly superior quality for low price.. My husband and I consider this our home base for sushi. We patronize many other places in the St. Louis area and across the country but St. Charles? Little Tokyo has some of the best sushi with by far the best pricing.

The environment is nice, very clean, tasteful décor without extravagance. My only dislike is the giant T.V. they have in there which is distracting if you are looking for a place for nice conversation.

Best Saba (mackerel) around!

Best Sushi in St. Charles. I knew we were in good shape when I saw 2 sushi chefs manning the sushi bar in front. I guess they have other things on the menu, but sushi is the reason to go here. Fresh, inexpensive. The Dragon Roll was great as well as the unagi. We had about $90 worth amongst 4 people and I didn't taste one bad thing. Also, the large bottle of sake (cold) for $7 is a steal.
