Not my kind of place.
If you are a male looking for cheap beer and women you have found your place to hang.
The facilities including the public areas are extremely dirty and would be at "eat at your own risk".
Not sure how the City of Edwardsville allows them to keep the nasty tent up year round for the smokers.
As a local I know of several occasions where married men have been busted in the the parking lot with their "pants down".
Not enough class to call a real college bar.
Want a sports bar where you can eat a decent meal and watch the game try Bull and Bears next door.…
Holy S#!* $1.50 bottles EVERYDAY!!!!!!. Charge me .65 cent for butter I don't care! $1.50 bottles everyday!!!!! Me and my friends are always in there for the NFL ticket and cheap drinks. This year and last. And like clockwork a few hours later the wife calling "where are you at" I simply say shaggs they got football baseball all the time. I really like that bearded guy behind the bar he's pretty cool! He dosen't like football much but he will talk baseball with you all day long!!!!!…
Cheapest Beer. Bottles of Bud Lt. and Bud and other Bottles are only a $1.50 everyday!!!! Not to mention whenever I go there with the guys it is always a pretty good party. Lots of room outside and you can smoke and drink out there too. One more thing, The Meltdown burger is the best, ask for it extra spicy, might be the best burger in the area!…
Great place to watch sports!. There are two huge big screen tv's on either side of the bar and at least a half dozen smaller tv's scattered about. I liked the sports packages they have. They have both baseball and football on direct tv. I watched the Cardinals game as well as NFL games Sunday.…
