TERRIBLE SERVICE, RUINED CLOTHES.
I won't bore you with the details, just read all of these reviews- I guess nothing has changed over the last two years. Rude and refused to replace ruined shirt. Manager was worst of all. Could never recommend them to anyone. Would give zero stars if I could.
I never write these reviews, but this time I can't avoid it- people need to know how awful this place is.
Awful Service. The Westway Location in Des Peres lost my wife's brand new Dress. They never apologized or followed up and will not reimburse or refund. The kicker is we have even paid for the Dry cleaning of the dress and have not been refunded.
Heinous service. I have never been treated worse in my life.. the owner is incredibility rude and treats customers like trash. The “cleaning “ aspect of this business is a completely joke, when I attempted to point out the hole made in several shirts in the exact same place the owner became infuriated and threw me out of the store. DO NOT GO!!! You will regret the experience.
Worst drycleaners in STL. They ruined my custom-tailored shirt. Drycleaned and left dark dirty circles on the collar and cuffs. Tried to fix it and made it worse. No apologies, no offers to refund money or offer any additional services. Numerous friends had the same experience. Will never use again.
incredibly poor service. incredibly poor service, will never use this cleaners again. on multiple occasions I specifically requested no starch on my clothes, but each time I received back heavily starched shirts. or, if an item was to be dry cleaned only, they would launder it. never even received an apology. go elsewhere.
Rude and Dishonest - Worst customer service ever. I took my comforter to get it dry-cleaned. Instead they washed it. It shrunk about 5-6 inches and would not cover my queen size bed. All the filling was in one corner of the comforter in a ball. The colors were faded and did not match the rest of my bedding. When I took it back, they told me they dry cleaned it and they would not do anything about it. I called one of their other locations and a few other dry-cleaners to ask if so much shrinkage is possible with dry clean, and all of them said that there is no way that is possible. I went to their corporate office and the lady was so rude, and basically just yelled at me the entire time. I threaten to take them to small claims court, because the cost of the comforter is $225, and she said "I'll see you there". Do not go there.
Bad Customer Service. I've been using this cleaners for some years. In the spring and fall I get all my seasonal clothes cleaned. I ask that they be put in seperate bags for storage. They have in the past done this. Today they wouldn't. I told them that if I had brought the clothes in one at a time that they'd be in seperate bags. That made no difference to the young woman at the counter so I asked for my uncleaned clothes back and she got them out of the bag handed them to me and said, "Have a nice day." I drove them over to Tip Top Cleaners where they said that seperate bags would be no problem.
TERRIBLE laundry service.
Very nice counter help and timely delivery do not make up for their abysmal laundry service.
I have literally had to re-iron every shirt I've had them launder and press. There are sharp creases where there shouldn't be, shiny spots from too-hot presses, and worst of all, wrinkles and creases from the manner in which Westway bags and handles the clothes.
I have given them several attempts to get this right on the off chance it was a fluke, but they are 3-for-3. Will not patronize again...
