Very Disappointing. The Brisket had so much fat that it looked like strips of raw bacon, the pork steak was all right but nothing special. The baked beans were also nothing special but the potatoes were pretty good. All in all it was a mediocre dining experience and I wouldn't bother to go there again. It was just not what I had hoped for, and there are so many other GOOD Barbecue restaurants that I wouldn't waste my time or money here again. The service was friendly but Pappy's Smokehouse and even Bandana's Barbecue are head and shoulders above Big Mama's. Never again.

Best freaking BBQ in Belleville!!!. Don't believe the other reviewer. Must not be a great fan of pork and BBQ sauce!

You gotta order the tender pork steak! Its a huge 1.5" thick piece of pork cooked to perfection. On the side, order fried mac and cheese and fried okra! Also get the sweet tea for justice!

in no rush to go back.... way too much sauce on the ribs. couldn't taste the meat. the sauce tasted like pure catsup.

if i ever decide to go back, i'll get the sauce on the side, and/or order pork steak. i tried a piece of my friend's and it tasted much better.

Beef brisket. Try the beef brisket . . . it's excellent! And the spicy fries are also very good . . .
