Best Sweet Tea.
I enjoy McAlister's perhaps once-a-month and really love their sweet tea. As a native southerner, it's the best tea north of the Mason-Dixon line I've had! Their soups are delicious and they have a great variety. The reuben is delicious, as is the Memphian. Their staff is friendly and I'm willing to wait the extra few minutes while they make my food, as I know it will be delicious. I'd reccommend McAlister's to out-of-town guests in a heartbeat! Be sure to try the slaw! It's yummy!

So happy they came to St Louis..
I first dined at McAlister's in Memphis when my sister was in school there. We made it a tradition every time we visited. When I saw the grand opening in Manchester I was so happy. The potatoes are wonderful!!!!! They take extra large potatoes and top them with pretty much anything you can think of. I highly recommend the potroast potatoes. The sandwhiches are very good as well and they have really good sweat tea as well (for all the southerners). Overall a very good deli with great service and exceptional prices.
