nice try but noooo way no jose.
The atmosphere is just like a ghost town since Jose and his family left. Absolutely no customer service... I had one refill the whole time and my mouth was on fire.. I think the waitress forgot about my table, she had this startled look on her face when she came around the corner 30 min later. I heard they are going to sell it soon... I would wait till they open a new one.. the food doesn't even taste the same, and it wasn't that great to begin with... we just came for the margaritas and the chat.

Great Mexican Food.
You have to try the D-22 Pollo Asado, its grilled chicken with delicious sauce and melted cheese, it's comes with beans, rices and tortillas.. all for under $10!! Other Great items are Chile Rellenos, Steak Quesadilla, Chicken Fajita Salad(the lupita special sauce is incredible), yum yum. For those of you that like regular items, they do have incredible Chimichanga,Fajitas, and Tacos..oh my..lol Give their food a try or enjoy their happy hour. ;)

The Best.
My favorite restaurant in St. Louis, of any kind. The people are great, the food is great - every time. The best part is that the same dish can be made just a little different on each visit, so there is always reason to come back.

Great experience, every time.
We have been to Mi Lupita in Fenton at least 50 times over the past two years, and I can't think of a single bad experience there. The owners are "buena gente" and the waiters are very personable. The food is the best Mexican I have tasted in St. Louis (with Pueblo Solis in South City a close second). Also, the prices are inexpensive - not cheap, but inexpensive. Finally, if you have kids, I would highly recommend this restaurant.
