The Scene
Grbic's large, two-room dining area is designed to evoke the feeling of an Eastern European country kitchen. Brick walls decorated with stone murals and quaint oil paintings, along with light, European balladry, inspire a tranquil, relaxed evening. Expect friendly and helpful servers, even though their graciousness lacks urgency.

The Food
One spoonful of the goulash, a hearty tomato broth thickened with meat and vegetables, sparks visions of the old country--even if you've never been there. Cauliflower schnitzel, similar to a cauliflower Parmesan, may be surprising and unfamiliar, but the light, crunchy batter and tangy tomato sauce quickly arouse a tasty recognition of the Italian version. The Grbic grill plate--a steak, veal, sausage and chicken sampler with a crisp, charbroiled flavor--exemplifies staples of Bosnian cuisine, even if the smallish portion feels slightly overpriced. For dessert, marvel at the wonderfully flaky crust of the honey-swirled baklava.

Just have to tell someone what a great dinning experience we have every time at Grbic. The place is spacious yet romantic with a lot of old world charm. Our neighbor, who is from Bosnia, took us there the first time. I wasn't sure what "Bosnian" food even was. We all ordered something different and shared. i found my beloved German schnitzel and spazzle. Absolutely, every dish was succulent. The salad is tomatoes with cucumbers, onions, in oil and vinegar, like granny used to make and the gulasch soup was great. there were 4 of us and we had so much food, we had to move to an 8-top table! But the best of all is the service you receive. (ask for Allen!) They all will make sure you are completely satisfied.
