Best Chinese Delivery and Take Out...Period!. Always friendly, always delicious, always fast! I've had favorite chinese restaurants across the US that don't hold a candle to Showok. If you haven't tried them yet then you should soon!

100% BEST Chinese delivery in Kirkwood!!!. We've been ordering from Showok since they opened a few years back. It's a family run restaurant & we normally have the same delivery guy every time. They have INCREDIBLE deep fried cashew chicken (a mainstay if you've ever been to Springfield, MO), which is is hard to find in St. Louis. Their chicken fried rice is fantastic, as well. They use very high quality, tender white meat chicken & they are VERY, VERY friendly. Prices are extremely reasonable as well. If you live in Kirkwood & like Chinese food, you'll understand when I say that I've had Wan Fu, King Doh, and Hunan Star & none of them even compete with the quality at Showok. The delivery, by the way, is AMAZINGLY fast. Sometimes they get to our house in 15 minutes, but never later than 45 minutes (and they'll be honest over the phone if delivery is going to take a long time).

People make a business. The folks who run Showok are some of the nicest, most accomodating folks I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

You'll find the usual St. Louis Chinese Food fare here, but there are a couple of standouts. Most of the chicken dishes are great, but the hot braised chicken is best.

I live less than a mile away but had never eaten here until I opened an office next door. Now that I eat there 3 times a week I wonder how this gem stays hidden. Their mainstay is takeout but there are a half dozen tables or so that you can always get a seat at.
