This restaurant chain brags that they call 'em Steakburgers "because they can," but they must think steaks are best when they are roughly handled and overcooked on a grill to the point dryness. From poorly formed, crumbly patties to almost unrecognizable flavor, Steak N Shake delivers only the sizzle. Adding insult to injury is their drive-thru service. They must believe that making you wait inordinate amounts of time while they overcook your burger adds to the "made for you" cachet.
