My husband and I went here one evening expecting to have a nice relaxing evening of fine dining. I do have to say that the waiter was very nice but the service of the food took a long time, and we did not care for the style they use to season and prepare it. It was an attractive restaurant, but was very expensive. When you enjoy the food thats ok, but when you don't enjoy it, then it certainly gives a person a different outlook.

Neruda is not your typical 'chain' dining experience; it is evident to all that the owners and staff think highly of their restaurant and want all who visit to do the same. The food here is simply magnificent; it is on the upper end in terms of cost, but the quality is absolutely amazing and the quantity is also vast. For a special night out, I would highly suggest Neruda; the service is spectacular and the food will not disappoint you.

Nestled in the quiet college town of Edwardsville, Neruda is a shining jewel of fine dining. Comparable to the Clayton and Ladue dining experiences, Neruda offers seasonal menus with exquisite variety, gilded by the touch of their fabulous chef. In a modest corner of route 157, this restaurant can easily slip by unnoticed. However, once you've dined inside you hear the beckoning call of its beautiful decor, fabulous service, and beyond delicious food.
