UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP!!!. Just an update this shop has moved. It is now located at 1001 East Broadway in Alton. It has gone into new ownership as of this year and is on the ball with all things cycling. They carry Specialized bikes and accessories. They also have the fastest repair turnaround in the metro area.

Wild Trak stood us up. We called Wild Trak yesterday about 12:30 and asked if they could change a flat and what their hours were for that day. The guy we reached said he could do it and would be there until about 5:00. We arrived about 2:20, and the shop was locked and dark. We hung around for a while but there was no indication the shop would open again. We also called again at that time and only got a recording. They have lost our business.

Who are they?. I've tried on several occasions to reach these folks. I've sent emails, and have called during business hours, only to get an answering machine.

Their web-site is aged, and it doesn't provide any product details.

The web-site doesn't even provide a list of brands that are carried.

I wanted to do business with these folks since I am local, but would strongly recommend a serious cyclist to consider either The Cyclery in Edwardsville, or Granada Cyclery in St. Peters.

Professional-Knowledgeable-Friendly. The minute you walk in you feel welcome. All questions are answered in a professional way. There is no pressure to purchase any products, only if you desire. They have the ability to fix your bike properly or supply you with a new bike that suits your needs. Glad I stopped in.
