Greens need improved.
I would rate this course very high if the greens were better. Great layout and very challenging course. Course has the potential to be the best in the area.

A fabulous course, helped by the fact that it's a Jack Nicklaus design..
The Highest Technology
Don't you hate it when you can't find the markers to see how far out you are from the pin? Never fear, GPS is here. Drive your cart to your ball, check the monitor, and voilà, the distance to the pin is revealed.
Bring Extra Balls
Pick up a few on your way to the course. It's not that you're that bad--it's that Stonewolf is that good.
Insider View
After you make the turn on No. 9, stop at the Villa for a cold one or two, then keep going. No. 10 is going to make or break your back nine. You have to be careful for the hidden water on the right side. Try your 3 iron.

Nice challenge.
A fair challenge. Lots of sand. A variety of landing areas, but most had bail out room. Good greens with a true roll. Rough was pretty long and tough. We played the whites which was appropriate for 20+ handicaps

Overpriced and Overhyped.
To be honest I actually used to like this course, then I realized I only liked the GPS syxstem. Now that the course has decided the GPS system was to expensive to maintain and ditched it, they still are charging the same rates. I thought the high rates payed for the system but I digress. Overall it is a very well maintained course and a nice design, however after removing the GPS system I quickly realized this course was made for the GPS system and the course is marked poorly without it. I took an out of town business partner their and he needed to rent clubs, the clubs were junk and there was even a dead mouse in the ball pocket. So much for being an upscale course.
