A little ole' country general store serving down-home foods and goods since 1969..
In Short
Originating in Lebanon Texas, this country store and restaurant has branched out all over the U.S. The décor includes old advertising signs, farm equipment, early kitchen appliances and photos which complement the country-style seating. Their menu includes home-style comfort foods like meatloaf and house-made mashed potatoes daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to stop into the gift shop for souvenirs and a variety of knick-knacks.

GREAT Home cooking by the fireplace.
I have ALWAYS loved Cracker Barrel, no matter where I travel to. The one here in town has friendly service and hot meals that taste like Grandma made them. Be sure to try their rootbeer, it comes in a bottle and is superb. It's fun to take the kids and sit near the open fireplace, playing checkers or other games they have available while you wait for a table or wait for your meals. The breakfasts are my favorite, especially the biscuits and gravy!

Expensive, low quality chain.
This is an extremely over-rated chain restaurant. Each of the three times that I've eaten at Cracker Barrel's across the country I have waited over an hour to eat a sub-par, rather expensive meal.
Many, much better breakfast locations in St Louis. Try Uncle Bill's, Eat-Rite, or Courtesy Diner . . . just to name a few

Country Comfort.
Cracker Barrel offers breakfast all day and no one makes better French Toast. The sour dough toast is to die for. The atmosphere and service reminds you of Grandma's house.

Good home cooked meal.
I usualy go to the Cracker Barrel in Fenton.
One of the things that allways gets me to return is the Warm Fire on a Wet Cold Fall Afternoon or Snow Covered Winter Morning. The employees are always frendly and the Meal is always "Great".

Great place to eat.
I believe the food and service is great, only bad thing i can say is the waiting for a table can be up to 30 minutes, sitting in the rocking chairs out front or looking through store makes the time seem to go by quicker.

Great food, great service. The best pancakes around -- bar none.

No Cracker Here.
Cracker Barrel is way over rated. The last two times I had breakfast there, the food was average at best. My wife's ham was dry and not very tasty. My potatoes were barely warm and rather bland.

Wonderful.
This was a good wholesome breakfast. The food was hot and there was plenty of it. I loved the potatoes
