I signed up at Leisure World in July 2008. The staff is friendly and all, but the place smells terrible. I understand that it is a gym and that people sweat, but this place reeks. It smells like 20 years of sweat and mildew that hasn't been cleaned. There is plenty of equipment. I would not say that it is state of art or the newest. A lot of the cardio machines sound like they are going to break. Another thing to mention, the staff, or whoever tries to sign you up, makes the place seem like it is the best. In all honesty it is not. The sign on the front door says new tanning beds, when in fact they are beat up looking and old. Please check into everything before signing the contract.

I have been a member of Leisure World Healt Club for 12 years. The club is always clean. The equipment is state of the art. The atmosphere is geared for all ages. I have tried other health clubs but this one is the best..

I'm currently a member but I'm trying to get out of it. I signed up almost 2 1/2 years ago. When joining the person told me that, You can cancel anytime. Don't believe them, I have tried cancelling 3 times. Each time they tell me, you can cancel in Feb. then it was March. The thing about it is that I have not been there in 2 years. For one my father died and I didn't feel the need to go. Second, its to far away from my home. They have been getting over $720 free money and they still don't want to cancel my membership. So, thing 4 times before you join this place.
