poor service and rude servers. the place was dead. This bar is past it's prime. no one goes there anymore and the service has really declined. The cocktail servers are ugly. this place is on a downward slope.
Completely Dead, this place is slow. needs to be remodeled.. I went to this bar with some friends on a wed and thurs the music was horrible and the place was dead. They think their parking lot is part of the bar, how trashy. Go up the street to Roxanne's or Miso's for a fun time with good looking people. N.Meremec and Forsyth are where the cool bars are.
Polished watering hole caters to chic yuppies and Clayton professionals..
The Scene
Adjacent to the popular Cafe Napoli, Bar Napoli has fast become one of the city's hottest scenes. Venetian-glass fixtures, faux concrete bar and pulsing electronica deftly produce a Euro vibe, while huge plate-glass windows and plush velvet bench seats create a fishbowl feel. Most patrons, however, are too busy scoping out the crowd to notice what's going on outside as passers-by peek inside for a view.
The Draw
Though it's a popular happy-hour spot for nearby bankers and lawyers, most people come here to flaunt their wares. From fit, sexy divorcees to professional athletes and everyone in between, you're guaranteed prime people-watching and your pick of potent cocktails. The limited menu of appetizers from the restaurant (basic bruschetta and calamari) complements the extensive drink menu with such house specialties as the St. Louis Blues, made with equal parts Bombay Sapphire, Ketel One and Gorgonzola- and anchovy-stuffed olives.
