Nadine's Gin Joint

Nadine's is comfortable and relaxing with better than average food. The outdoor patio is really one of the nicer ones in the area, but not so large that you get lost when it's busy. Staff is friendly and management is visible and interacts with the guests. Nice setting and right on the street giving it just enough of an urban quality. In my mid forties and found it very enjoyable. I would highly reccommend as a spot to catch up with old friends or your own sanity.

Good food for a bar...

Nadine's is a great place to get food in Soulard if you're looking for a less packed place to go, (when other bars near by are too crowded.) PLUS the bar has a beautiful patio, so if it's a nice day out I highly reccommend sitting outside. In reference to the review written above: No, don't bring your kids-- it's a bar! Common sense on that one. And if your children don't behave well in restaurants I'd prefer if you never brought them to any restaurant. As far as Nadine's.... Definitely a place to go to relax, hang out with friends, grab a drink, and eat some good food. Good fries, good chicken salad, real good food. Plus the owner and her staff are nice, friendly and attentive.

not kid friendly

no reviews on this restaurant say don't bring your kids but this is only a place to take your family if you have perfect children.
