First and Last Time. For the first time I decided to take my clothes to a consigment shop which was recommended by a relative. I took my clothes in they went through them gave some back and told me I had 90 days. I found it somewhat odd that they didn't even show me or list what they took. Well I had never been to a consigment shop so I thought that was normal. Once my time was up I called to see if I needed an appt. to pick them up and they said no I had to come in today and go through the racks myself. They provided a list of things that were not sold and I started rummaging through. After about an hour I realized I had been through every piece of clothing and there was a good portion missing. I marked every item I had located off and there was about 15 items missing. I went throught the racks again and the girl working there assisted too, I even checked in the baby/childrens clothes and still not sign. Now the store is not that big so it's not possible that they are lost nor is it possible for 15items to walk right out the door. Some of the items were long dresses which in my opinion would be hard to steal. Needless to say I was told to leave my number and the owner would call back. No reponse, I gave her a week and tried again, still no reponse. Pretty sure she might have a daughter that would fit those clothes too.........
