Great Brick Oven Pizza - tried it once and was hooked.. This place has great pizza and great calzones. They make everything from scratch. The crust is great, the sauce is great, and they use Mozeralla (as they should) on their hand tossed and Chicago Style pies. For those that wish, they do offer a thin crust with the fake St. Louis cheese called provel. It's a brick oven pizza, I imagine it's good if you like provel on your pizza. I've had their hand tossed pizza at least a dozen times now, and I have not had one problem. Carry out hand tossed is ready to go in 20 minutes, and both times I've eaten in, the wait after ordering is no longer than any other resteraunt you could go to. The Calzones are awesome too. They're HUGE and at a great price. For dining in, it's a nice place for kids, there's a pinball and Mrs. Pacman game in the dining room for them to busy themselves with while waiting for the food.

The Chicago Style could use some work, seems to me that they just added a bunch of cheese, and didn't really make a Chicago Style pizza like I would expect from Giordano's or Gino's of Chicago, however, the fresh made ingredients still made a decent pizza. I'm glad I found this place, it's in the entertainment book, so you can get two pizzas for the price of one. Unless they were giving out free pizza, I couldn't imagine going to any of the chains instead of Neighborhood Pizza Parlor. This is a GREAT place to grab a pizza before or after a movie in Ronnie's Plaza.

customer. This is the only place in the area that I know of who offer three different doughs cooked in a brick oven and everything was fresh and made from scratch. I saw them making the dough in the mixer.

The sauce was excellent and the service was good. They have a surpisingly large menu so I'm sure it will take me a while to work my way through it. The food took a little longer than a chain, but everything was done from scratch and well worth the wait. I know any one who tried it would love it.
