What People Are Saying About Baileys' Chocolate Bar

In Short – Cocoa is the poison of choice, gracing nearly everything in the dessert-heavy menu: pies, cakes, tarts, handmade chocolate ice cream and Bailey's famous chocolate bread pudding. Cheese plates and mini-pizzas are available to prevent sugar overload. Don't miss the specialty drinks at the bar: 15 chocolate martinis shaken, stirred and each with their own kick.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - We will be back again many times for sure. Thank you.

FIrst, it's hard to get a 5 star from me. Those are reserved for really the best of the best. This place is pretty good though.
We stopped in after a dissappointing night at Modesto (not recommended).
We were seated quickly, had a large group, and the hostess was VERY KIND to do everything she could do to accomodate us on a busy Saturday Night: A+
The 3 items I tried were a banana bread split, a flourless molten chocolate cake with coffee ice cream, and the bread pudding. All 3 were fabulous. A+
I enjoyed a couple of great cups of coffee with Baileys, and tried my wife's martini which was some kind of milk chocolate martini - fantastic. Yummy. They could get you in big trouble.
The atmosphere was trendy, electric, and really fun. Nice little spot in Lafayette square.
Our waitress was extremely nice and very attentful. Never made us feel like we were putting her out. Thank you for that.
Really enjoyed our night cap and will for sure be back again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
- Pros: Ambience. Service. Food / Drinks
- Cons: None. (Although be prepared this isn't Dairy Queen prices)
Possibly My Favorite Place Ever

Me and two of my friends went to St. Louis on a college trip circa 2004. In short, whenever we get together and travel we STILL talk about this place. My friend bought a cheesecake there and took one bite.. pulled the fork out of his mouth and said, "I do believe this is the best cheesecake I've ever had." I like stout beers and they had a "stout beer float" that was surprisingly good. Basically, this place specializes in alcoholic drinks and deserts, which is a strange combination that they somehow get to work well. They also played a bunch of music that I had never heard before but I really liked EVERY SINGLE song. Our waitress was hot and as nice as she could be. I don't know if it was just a good night for them, or if they're always like that, but if I ever return to St. Louis I WILL go back to Bailey's. If I ever move to St. Louis I'll make sure I live within walking distance. I normally don't gush about places, but it really was a great experience there. It would be an ABSOLUTELY PERFECT place to take a date.
- Pros: awesome desserts, creative menu, friendly staff.. very "intimate" and trendy place.
- Cons: slightly expensive, but well worth it.
BEST Date Night Spot

Great atmosphere, awesome service, and overall incredible food and drinks. We went earrlier in the evening at it wasn't crowded...they have patios seating available, too. I highly recommend this place to hang out, eat, or drink great drinks. Not the best if you are really really hungry.
- Pros: Incredible atmosphere
- Cons: Parking is a lityle far away
