Very disappointing.
We got a Saturday evening reservation for 8:45. They had been running behind all evening & everyone in the lobby with us with reservations waited at least an hour to be seated. They claimed they did call one party & ask them to come in an hour later than their reservation but they did not call the rest of us.
The parties that complained the loudest got free drinks. The rest of us that waited with reservations were ignored.
We had a pleasant waiter but he never brought our appetizer. The food was mediocre.
Bad experience for too high a price.
Their uncaring attitude has turned me off.
Spend your money elsewhere!. What a very pricey, disappointing meal. You can get a better cut of filet at Outback at a third of the price. We now know why the place was empty on a Friday night!
Superb Steaks. Probably St. Louis's Finest Steakhouse. Great for Romantic Dinner, Business or Friends. This is a fine steakhouse that does it right! Great food, great wine list, a top-shelf bar and very good service. The great thing about Flemings is that you can make it a romantic dinner or a business dinner, a group of friends or a family gathering... It works great for all of these. Bring your gold Amex card, however, it's not cheap. But for the fine night out to dine in St. Louis--Flemings is well worth it! Superb filet and some great seafood... also consider the wine flights. Location is great as is the ambiance. It's TOPS in St. Louis.
Fleming's Not Always "Pricey". Fleming's is often accused of being pricey, but you can either pick more carefully from the ala carte menu for a smaller bill, drink somewhere else before dinner, or come on Sundays, when each restaurant has a Prime Prime Rib Dinner (repetition intended), with large prime rib cut, side dish, salad and dessert for only $24.95. That, is value!
