The best service I have EVER RECEIVED!!!. Wow, Doris changed the way I viewed servers. We were greeted very kindly at the door and the hostess seated us very quickly. Within 8 minutes -I kid you not- 8 minutes after we ordered our food it was showing up steaming hot and ready to devour. Our server was very witty and funny and I really enjoyed eating there, I felt like family and as if I were at home. I can't believe I waited so long to try their Country Fried Steak and experience the environment for myself. I live relatively close and will recommend this location and server to anyone who will listen. I love this place and the food is phenomenal! It is a relaxing and open space where you can bring the person or people you care about and leave feeling like you got a genuine Cracker Barrel Old Country Store experience. Thank you Doris! Originating in Lebanon Texas, this country store and restaurant has branched out all over the U.S. The décor includes old advertising signs, farm equipment, early kitchen appliances and photos which complement the country-style seating. Their menu includes home-style comfort foods like meatloaf and house-made mashed potatoes daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to stop into the gift shop for souvenirs and a variety of knick-knacks.
