Hair Salon - the friendliest place in Creve Coeur. Cara, John, Mark, Michael, Lisa - and everyone else at Malia are like our extended family. They have cared for everyone in my family for years. We love going to Mallia every time!
ITCHY SCALP- BEWARE!!!. I have been going to Malia for ten years- spent at least $15,000 and discoverd they are ONLY PRENTENDING TO USE THEIR UPSCALE PRODUCTS- KERASTE.. wactch out.. I'm sure you'll be scratching soon!!!! EH!
Great salon!. I just recently started going to Malia with a friends recommendation and I love it! Although they are a bit pricier than what I have been use to, I also feel as though I got a better outcome that with the lesser costing salons. Plus, between talking about what I wanted from my hair cut/style ect, wash, and cut I was there almost 1.5 hrs. I would completely recommend!!!
Highly Recommended!. Ive been going to Malia for a few months and every experience has been great. Grace did my color and she took her time asking questions and making sure we were on the same page and my color came out exactly how I wanted it. Kara has done my blowouts and they are BY FAR the BEST I have ever gotten in any city. The staff has always been very nice and accomodating. Their prices are great and I leave happy everytime.
Do not GO. The first time I went there I liked my hair, then I went to a different person and they did a good job, but I started going to my normal stylist (named Lisa) and she would never listen to what I said and she was so fake. She would make you feel like she thought you were so great, but if you got there when she is still working with a client and then you hear her say the exact same things to the other client. Her compliments are like a routine and she gets a style stuck in her head and will never listen to you and they are all like that.
Best Salon in STL!. Malia's has the most talented stylists in the STL area. As a nursing student I am always on a budget. However, I expect my hair to be easy to maintain, the color to look fabulous and this is always what I get when I leave Malias. I have no problem paying high prices when the craftsmanship is of excellent quality. This is what you get when you are at Malias. Whatever the owner John is doing there he has managed to do something very good and I hope it continues to stay that way. My recommendations for color would be Mark Lewis. (I can't imagine my hair without him!) For hair cuts, Lisa Weber, Kara, and the great new addition, David. (I just had my last two cuts from him and I feel like Cameron Diaz running around with my "Surfer Ponytail" as I call it. David and Mark have got me feeling hot and what more could you ask from your hair team/salon?! GO MALIA!!!
A upscale salon without the attitude......... This salon has a way of being able to adhear to someone on a budget and someone who doesn't have a budget at all. The entire staff has the training an ability of the top salons I've seen in New York, LA, FL, and all over the states. Either choose from an intern who is being trained under the top master or choose a master stylist with the experience of more than 10 years; you'll experience the same customer service through out your stay. Enjoy a glass of wine or a soda, and although they didn't have ice tea, the owner was more than happy to walk next store to get me one. Talk about making your clients feel as if they are right at home.
Not happy!. Try as they may, I wasn't happy with my cut at all. I found this salon to be too pricey. Just because someone works in a nice salon and you are handed refreshments, doesn't mean they do a good job.
Great service. One of the best haircuts I've gotten! They even serve wine and drinks while you wait. The staff was friendly and gave us a tour too. A little pricey, but a fun way to treat yourself.
Always a good bet. Every time I've gone to Malia's, I've left a completely satisfied customer. I even used them for my wedding hairstyle and makeup. Everyone is professional and courteous. Malia is always my first choice for a salon.
