Very unpleasant atmosphere. Jae has cut my hair several times, and each time I get a good cut at a good price.

However...

--I have had to wait for her to show up for my appointment on more than one occasion. Once, maybe, but not a pattern. I only have one day off each week, and my time is booked solid... I should not have to wait.

--Every time I go in--EVERY time--I have to listen to her complain about her staff. If she has problems with her employees, she should handle them discreetly with the stylist... I don't want to hear about it.

--I do not like to be scolded every time I come in because I color my own hair (that's all I can afford) and because I do not like a bunch of "product" gooing up my hair. I did let her color it once as a treat to myself, and ended up with a color that was not what I requested at a shocking $200 price tag.

I'm just too tired to deal with this. Getting your hair styled should be a relaxing experience. At Jae D's, it never was. I now go to a different salon where the whole staff is positive, agreeable, professional, friendly with me and with each other.

Been a customer of Jae's for 20 years.... Jae has been taking care of my hair for 20 years (and trust me - it's FABULOUS!)

She does the best color of anyone I know. Lately, I've been getting the Brazilian Blow-Outs which are phenomenal (as is her price, compared to anywhere else). She is a skilled hair-cutter and stylist too.

She always fits me in - she knows that my schedule is crazy so when I call to say "Jae, can you get me in this weekend?" she finds a way.

Highly recommended based on dozens of visits over 2 decades.

DO NOT GO HERE!. I have been a customer of Jae D's Salon for over 4 years with April, who is absolutely phenomenal. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with Jae, the ower, and thus will never set foot in the salon again. I scheduled my bridal party, along with my mother, mother-in-law, nieces, and sister-in-law, to have manis and pedis the day before my wedding. Jae knew that 11 people would be attending the event. For this, Jae had 2 PEOPLE doing nails. Needless to say, some of my family and bridal party waited over 7 hours for service. Jae did not offer to discount any services and even had the audacity to talk incredibly rudely to her employees directly in front of us. When I tried to speak to Jae about the services taking so long, she then attempted to blame this on my 2 nieces, who had a design done on their nails. DO NOT GO HERE, NONE OF US WILL EVER AGAIN!!!
