Not saying don't try it, but...... Took over an hour and a half to deliver. Food was as cold as the car it rode in and the potato salad was equally as warm. The food was very average. The wings were large though. The garlic bread was very small and gave you the thought that they just don't care about what they give you. The only great thing about this place is that the sauce is pretty good and they deliver...it just takes very very very long. Not sure how this could be considered the best in St. Charles county or St. Louis. You can throw a rib bone and find one better...Try it for yourself though if you are curious. Personally, I probably won't be back...2 stars just because the sauce is pretty good. I'd buy it if I saw it in a store.

I call them to the mat!. My wife was kind enough to bring me Stumpy's home for lunch, and what a disappointment. I got the combo with ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. No smoky flavor in the pulled pork, the ribs I'd give a C+, they were tender, but no dry rub flavor to speak of, and the brisket was dried out and NASTY. I wanted to go to their website to give them feedback and see if they just had an off day, but guess what? NO way to email the staff. Weak. I'm throwing my email address out here: nlograsso@sbcglobalDOTNET. I challenge the so called "bbq" people at stumpy's to a bbq cook off. I'll beat 'em in all three categories that I tried. Maybe if they take me on they'll make some fresh meat that actually tastes good.

stumpy's bbq. awesome food and decor, not hard to see why it was voted best bbq in st. charles. ribs have way more meat than bandanas

So good! You gotta try it!. This restaurant is like Super Smokers...only MUCH better! The service is better, the food is better, and the atmosphere is AMAZING. If you like sports, you will LOVE this place! The walls are covered in sports memoribilia as well as every single table. I recommend the ribs and the pulled pork. Also, the fried pickles are to die for!
