i can not believe the experience i had
here, i will be coming back. I received a half day getaway from my boyfriend, as a birthday gift, and i was so excited. I walked in and i felt so welcome. i was greeted and was explained to of what to do and where restroom and if i wanted a water.. they asked if i would like the table warmer on and yes of course i did, its cold outside!
So i got in the room, i started with a facial... Sonya (hope i spelled that right.. sorry if not), and she told me that i will be having my facial, massage and foot treatment in the same room, so i didn't have to get up until it was time to get my other services. I felt so relaxed, she gave me time to relax on table and get adjusted. She came in room and explained during it what she was doing, and im glad she did and she explained to me what i could do for my skin since i have bad skin skin. things were so perfect! when she was finished with the facial, she left and my therapist Paula came in.. I enjoyed every moment of my services!!!
then Paula said i could get dressed and to take my time. and i went into get my manicure and pedicure.. I had Sonya again! so we were able to talk about my skin some more because i wanted to know so much! she knew what to say and how to help me! she did a fabulous job. i asked if they do bikini/Brazilian waxing she said yes, i came back 2 days later and she started out with bikini because i were nervous, and then i let her do Brazilian.. i will never go to anyone else! and I will be coming back for a massage and facial as much as i can- thank you so much for taking such great care of your clients Sound Stone Massage

This place gets better with age. They were in the old Crestwood Plaza Mall and moved summer of 2012 to an expanded, all brand new location 1 block from closed up mall. Really classy interior, with more rooms, more staff and more services, plus they do Thai Yoga Massage which I luv-luv-luv. Still love the hot stone massage, but Thai bodywork is like the missing link. Doug was excellent and stayed in touch with how far I could stretch etc. I recommend a Thai session for everyone at least once a month. Guess that is why country of Thailand offers Thai body session on practically every street corner its that good.

Best Massage Ever. I found this spa to be completely unique. It is sparkling clean. Not only did I get the best massage ever, I was given the best care. I have a disability and was given complete attention. I left feeling better than I had in a long time!

READ BEFORE GOING!. Okay, BEWARE...This is not an IDEAL SPA trampeling through a desserted mall. It is creepy in some way . We show up and the therapist had her boyfriend check us in (his shirt had old food stains on it and he looked like he hadn't showered). At this point, I almost walked out, but my husband and I had an evening out (without our son) and wanted to relax. While the session was relaxing, the therapist had no pressure in their hands, other than the stones so this was no deep tissue or a way to help your body, just a place to relax and lay down and hear the music and smell the scents. If your looking for a spa experiance, DO NOT GO HERE.

We apologize for the male massage therapist who checked you in. Prior to your arrival he was refilling lotion bottles when the pump device broke & splattered his shirt. All staff will now be required to have a change of clothing on location. We offer Deep Tissue massage, but needs to be requested upon booking. We use larger hot stones that apply pressure over a wider area of skin, which can give the impression of less pressure applied. The major shifts in the US economy has touched this well-loved mall. Good News: its been re-purposed as a community ArtSpace supported by local, independent small businesses, non-profits, dance studios, art galleries & small theater groups. This place absolutely sucks..
My poor girlfriend bought me a massage here (a couples massage for us) for our anniversary. She is a former massage therapist (trained with hot stone) and was totally disappointed. I was heartbroken that she wasted her money, and I was so upset when I left I could hardly contain myself.
I was very specific about what I wanted done, and it was like they IGNORED every area I told my therapist to focus on.
Furthermore, I told them I like a lot of pressure... after having clammy, weak, languid hands rub oil on me for ten minutes, I insisted she "could use significantly more pressure", to which she replied, "I don't use pressure, I use movement."
I wanted to get up and leave.
This might as well have been an hour long sun screen application, because at no point did my therapist use any more force than I use when applying lotion to my own skin.
This was a pathetic massage, it was really expensive, and I left more stiff, frustrated and annoyed than I had been all day.
Avoid this place. The mall is deserted and this place should be too.

The goal of Sound Stone Massage is to provide a total relaxation, trans-formative massage experience that is a super-star hit for as many people as possible. I know all too well the annoyance of not getting the type of massage expected or needed & can empathize with Mr. Caz's frustration. I spoke to Mr. Caz and girlfriend to apologize for a less than expected experience & mailed her a full refund (including gratuity). Like shoe sizes, one size does not fit all. We specialize in the Original LaStone Therapy massage. However, there now exists dozens of different interpretations of this modality. Like specialty dishes served in restaurants not everyone has the same tastes. So to with massage, people have widely different preferences on the level of pressure they are comfortable with. I thanked Mr. Caz for his heartfelt feedback as it has shed light on a change in best practices that has already been implemented assuring Sound Stone Massage Studio of continued 5 Star reviews.

HEAVENLY MASSAGE. My daughter and I received to most wonderful couples massage you can imagine yesterday. We sighed all the way home. I highly recommend this service to one and all. It's the best ever!

Awesome massage. My husband and I had a couples massage> Over the years we had many, this was one of the best. Was little disappointed/angry when it was canceled 20 mins before our appt time. Jackie did make up for it though and it was well worth giving them a 2nd chance. Would use them again!!!

Thanks for giving us a 2nd chance to make up for the unexpected last minute cancellation (due to sudden illness of 2nd therapist who thought she could go thru with it and had to back out at last minute). I was frustrated too, but will always do what I can to make it right for our customers.

Loved it!. Sound Stone massage is great! Jackie is a great massage therapist I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I would recommend this place to anyone anytime.

90 minutes of bliss!. This was one of the best massages I've ever received. Jackie soothed all the senses -- hot stones, vibrating table, headphones with special relaxing music, great massage. Very unique.

Great Hot Stone!. Hot Stone is my favorite kind of massage so I've tried it in a number of places. I think Jackie offers the best Hot Stone massage in town! The use of sound makes it even more relaxing.
