Roberto's Trattoria moved some time ago to 145 Concord Plaza, St Louis, MO 63128. 314-842-9998 and is still the best hidden gem in South County!
Staff is the best! My favorite is 'Steve'. Food always leaves me wanting more and I can usually get it 'my way'!
I have been a long time diner at all of Roberto's locations. However, for last 2 months I have been unable to get in because their reservations are packed. I usually make it a point to call two or three days in advance and I can never get in.
I am concerned about this waiter business. If any one could advise I would appreciate it. I have never had a problem with the serving staff but I have not dined there in serveral months due to not being able to get a reservation. I would appreciate anyones insight.
Roberto's previous location may have caused someone to have to drive through St. George. You do not have to go through St. George to get there now.
But here is a little tip for anyone on the road through St. George or anywhere else -- Don't break the law! Then you have no problem.
food great service better now!. in regards to tocky i agree with smuffy your spelling suc#@! second the server you are talking about was a rookie! he is a slob, and had 5 different complaits about him.if u like him so much i heard he is working at some hospital or novaks in the city. he is a slob, shirt untucked and always dirty. i had him as a waiter once, and never wanted him again. he would smell like liquor and would curse also. he is not a good waiter! you must like dru@ addicted non showering servers to wait on you, heres a hint go to mc donalds or burger king thats where you will find him. as foor the food.............we always have a great dinner there we like seeing roberto out there. your comment will not turn people away because he has been doing this for almost 20 years. it is funny....... you wont come back...........why .........no more free drinks....free food.......thats what i thought

sorry for change in staff. For the last 2 years i have been a frequent guest but on a recent visit I was told by a sub par waiter that the best waiter in the city had been let go due to a customer complaint my wife and I dine out at least 4 times a week and although we have had excellent meals on ocassion some pasta veal and chicken dishes have left somthing to be desired we returned to robertos becauce 1 outstanding waiter made my wife children & myself feel the restraunt was there just for us!!! robert has recently been seen more often in the dinning room and must have seen the detication and caring of this server on our last visit we were there to plan a banquet for a group of friends and associates but after learning of the dissmissel of our favorite waiter in the city decided to go to another rest. owners need to understand that the staff is what really earens their living we have talked to other friends that new this waiter & agree that although they will return more of their & our dinning dollars will now go somewhere else if you are a robertos regular and no this waiter please show robeto with your dollars his mistakeor tell him at the door sorry 1 unhappy guest can leave 100 lost regulars
nunnya is bashing everything in this zip code 63123. nunnya is bashing everything in this zip code 63123 based on a 16th of a mile stretch of Reavis Barracks Rd where a speed trap town named St. George is. The town is nothing but a speed trap and has always had a bad reputation. Basically it's nothing more than a subdivision where someone along time ago decided they wanted to play Mayor. So he convinced everyone in the subdivision to establish their own township. They have always had cops that the real police departments wouldn't hire. But the places nunnya is telling people to stay away from are no where near St. George and you can get to everyone of them without going threw or near St. George. (except for the Imos pizza that is on Reavis Barracks, but there are like 60 Imos locations in St Louis) I think if nunnya lived here he would no this. Why punish a bunch of good businesses over one stupid wana- be town that is nowhere near.
Great food and great service.. We have had dinner here many times and have never had anything that was not excellent. Our favorites are the Veal Milanese and Veal ala Creama. The Owners and Jackie (the first server we met there) are wonderful and do everything to make sure the experience is perfect. All of the staff areattentive and very friendly. We recently had an appetizer there that was one of the specials. It had eggplant and ground beef tenderloin in it and it was absolute heaven! As for the previous review that gave this place a low rating, that was very unfair. His rating had nothing to do with the restaurant but rather his complaint with the city police. It seems like a no brainer to make certain that you obey the traffic laws if you know someone will be watching. We've never had a problem and we certainly wouldn't let his comments stop us from going to this wonderful restaurant.
I just wanted to call out user 'nunnya' for his ignorance. He wrote his review on 9/12/07 and Roberto's is not near St. George. It is in South County at S. Lindbergh and Baptist Church. Unless this moron lives by Hampton and Chippewa - you do not need to drive through St. George to get to this place.
