Excellent place for lunch. San Sai has great rolls, salads, bowls, and sushi. Very reasonable prices and a convenient location. I recommend calling your order in, as the lines can be VERY long, especially around noon.

Also, I don't recommend going during the lunch rush, as a rushed roll is a sloppy roll and difficult to eat.

great taste, fresh, and cool setup. I was looking for a different restaurant when I passed San Sai. I decided to stop and eat there instead. It was a great decision. The food was freshly made, good, and the setup inside is cool. 11 bucks for lunch is sort of high, but I've found out that that is how it is in downtown STL. I would definitely recommend trying San Sai to anyone who likes Japanese food.
