Very Happy Bride. I am new to the area and didn't know where to get my hair done on my wedding day. I asked around and everyone I talked to recommended Diane from main street salon. Diane, also refered to as the "Up-do Queen", was AMAZING!!!!! I scheduled 4 up do's for my self and 3 bridesmaids and the morning of our appointment a 4th bridesmaid decided she wanted to get her hair done too. Diane was more than willing to help us out and squeeze her in. She did an amazing job and I could not have been happier. Everything and everyone looked wonderful. Throughout the day, our hair stayed perfect. I am so thankful for Diane and the entire staff at Main Street Salon, everyone was so nice and helpful on my Wedding day. I would recommend them to ANYONE!

Awesome Experience Everytime! Hearing Impaired Accessable!. Such an awesome place. You never go without a drink in your hand or friendly conversation. You'll feel right at home when you are there. Never have I ever waited for my appointment time!

My first experience with this salon back in January 2011, was awesome. I was so upset because I had my hair done at another hair salon and they messed up my color and wouldn't fix it, because as the stylist saw it, she thought my hair was cute, ugh! I'm kinda old fashioned, & Ronald McDonald hair is not what I had in mind for my birthday. So on the off chance that someone at The Main Street Salon could fix it, and fix it right, I made an appointment. They had me in the next day, and with in the hour my hair was the right shade of red, cut & styled just like the picture I had brought in, and my birthday was saved. It was an awesome experience, and I'll never go anywhere else. You can't go wrong here, they are always busy, so make your appiontments early.

Side note to my hearing impaired friends out there; these stylist work well, very well with those of us who need to remove our hearing equipment during our appointments. This should be a big help to those of us using Cochlear America Products. They are always really careful & knowledgable about hearing implants & the care of implants. They even don't mind the extra time & care it take for coloring your hair with an implant. Finally a place that doesn't turn you away cause you have an hearing implant! And, finally a place I am comfortable venturing out alone, when I can't use my hearing implant while my hair is being styled. They are always make sure they are facing me so I can read their lips & make sure to include me in their conversations! Very, very refreshing!

Love Love Love This Place!. I love this salon! The area is great, the salon is quaint, and the people are fun. Billy takes good care of everyone who comes through the door, Jim is definately the head of the entertainment committee, Lauren can do amazing things with your hair, and no one can make your nails look as good as Patti can! I highly recommend this salon to anyone in the St. Charles area!

Angry and rude Owner. Owner extremely rude... came on time they were still working on other clients....Owner charged at my 1 and a half and 3 and a half year old screaming at them because they were playing with a little hand sanatizer pump... they got terrified and when I told that he could tell me and not scream at my little daughters he yelled at me too so I got scared and left with my kids...very weired never happened to us anywhere else....seems like owner doesn't know how to handle customers, have issues and is extremely rude.

My 3 and half still remembers incident and crys everytime she remembers!!!! Advise DO NOT GO THERE!!!

WOW if anybody reads the comment on my review will understand the kind of atmosphere and attitude you will get there lol very funny...... Plus a big a lie my children never did that and actually I was contacted by 2 of the present clients at the time to tell me that they wittnessed what happened and how disgusted they were....as simple sorry could have helped no wonder you only have 3 reviews in such a long time...you guys lack customer service skills and the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU RECORDS show that as well!! Good Luck managing a sinking business!

Also how would a 1 year old and a 3 year old be unruly lol that's just way funny ....they were annoyed because of your poor service and bad appointment managing as we had to sit for a 1 full hour before you got to mine and my cousins.....we got ther 15 minutes before the appointment time and still had to wait an hour way to go on managing your time table but anyways your comment there says it all loool you can enter as fake reviews as you want there but people already know what a bad business you are !

And to prove that you are lying the sink is way in the back in a total different room we were sitting in the waiting area by the manicure desks right infront of the shampoo shelves where everybody in the salon saw what he did! Renee74 your first comment you logged in as a client and now you are commenting as a worker in that place don't you think that already takes away the credability! No wonder your clients contacted me very disgusted!

P.S. COMMENTATORS PLEASE SEE PHOTO OF THE 2 POOR LITTLE GIRLS THAT WERE TERRIFIED TO DEATH BY A BIG STRANGE MAN. I LEAVE THAT TO YOUR JUDGEMENT!

Awesome salon in a beautiful area. This salon is wonderful! Both of my appointments have been great experiences. The stylists/staff there are so much fun, and seem to really enjoy their time there. You will be greeted immediately & have a drink in your hand in no time. And as for the most important piece of info...my hair turned out fabulous! Great layered cut (long hair) & great color (blonde) at an affordable price. Billy did my hair, and will again soon.
