Beware, this is a mom and pop operation masquerading as a national retailer. If you appliances arrive damaged (if they arrive at all) you are pretty much on your own. Ordered 4 appliances, 3 arrived damaged. The microwave I ordered had a huge dent in it that was not discovered until the contractor unpacked. Goedekers refused to replace or refund. I was told that they would send me a new cover for it or I could pay to return their damaged product and pay a 20% restocking fee to return it. Don't believe what this company says about their corporate values, I have dealt with more ethical used car dealerships.
I purchased a GE Profile double oven .. Great price .. Delivery was timely, undamaged and matched my order. I was very pleased.
Excellent service from start to finish. I will use Goedeker's again should I need an appliance in the future.
As previous reviewer stated, BEWARE if your appliances arrived damaged. The company that delivers will tell you don't worry if anything is damaged as they will replace. NOT TRUE. They do rush the delivery as well. Did not discover damage until installer was fully unpacking. Microwave has HUGE dent in it.... Goedekers says sorry you didn't note that upon delivery. Box had rip in it, mentioned it to delivery company who assured us it would be fine. They offered to order a new case from Samsung and a $25 credit, told us to get fixed....I'm not even sure this thing will work if plugged in and frankly I am kind of afraid to based on how it looks.....I would suggest you get their white glove delivery, this way you can get everything unpacked while the delivery company is there. Has anyone tried to quickly unpack a dishwasher, stove and microwave curbside so you can fully inspect before delivery company leaves in five minutes? -- Good luck.
Purchased a dishwasher & range, both came in damaged (hidden, could see untill ready to install). Called and was told GE had to handle the exchange or repair. Called GE and had to wait a week for a service perosn to come out. Have to take off work to meet them today. I was told that after the appliances are evaluated it can take another 2-3 weeks for new ones to arrive. Beware if your appliances are damaged, they do nothing to help. Spent hours on the phone. Also there is no way to track your order. Their delivery people are in a huge hurry and don't really give you a chance to take a good look at the appliances when they are delivered.
I always love reading negative reviews
from people who are misguided or are upset at the wrong people. Regardless, Goedecker's did everything they said they would, had the best price and answered the one or two questions I had in a professional manner. The rest of you whinners....go to Sears and pay 15% more

I am very happy with my fridge purchase. The price was unbeatable by any of the 5 other companies I checked. I will definately go to Goedeker's first for future purchases.
Purchase elsewhere! First, when we realized the fridge would be too large,my spouse calls and is told it will cost 500 to restock ( half of the original cost) since it is "In transit" LIE! SO husband decides to keep fridge and resell on Craigs, but it arrives dented and Goedekers will not take back or compensate! Unknown to me husband orders another fridge ( he admits he is an idiot) and washer dryer from this horrid business! The dryer stand is dented they claim and it will be shipped FED EX! HMM how about taking the first dented fridge back?? NOO that would be GOOD SERVICE! Then the second fridge shows up a week early, no notice ( luckily we are home, no call) since old fridge needs to be removed. Bottom line listen to all the bad reviews! This business is HOrRID CURRENTLY MR. STEVE IS SUPPOSE TO CALL BY THE END OF THE DAY because he was in a " meeting" yeah right( so his customer service rep claimed) it is past 6 p.m and still no call. Support, SEARS, LOWES, Home Depot they need your business it is worth the few extra bucks! Like my dad always claimed you get what you pay for! BEWARE
Awhile back I was at a trivia night and
there was a silent auction.
I bid on a package that had one of Goedeker's gift cards and another company's gift card.
I bid on these because I always appreciated what Mr. Goedeker stood for, that his store was closed on Sundays and that it supposedly was a good super store.
Anyway, living in the city I kept thinking, "when am I ever going to get to Ballwin"? So, this past week as I was preparing the dinner menu for my Dad on Father's Day I realized that I could really use one of those big drink blenders. I went on-line at Goedekers.com and looked over the whole website. I found one that I liked and also found an outside table that I REALLY liked and thought that I was going to have a problem deciding what to get. So, on the hottest day of the summer so far I trudge out to Ballwin, walk into the store, have a salesman come up to me and ask what I am looking to purchase and when I asked for a blender he asked me what I said and then said, "we don't have anything like that here." And he walked away. Thanks.
Great. As I looked around there is NOTHING in the store for the price of my gift certificate that I could settle for and only large appliances and furniture. I am VERY disappointed. I do NOT need any appliance or furniture.
I came back home and looked over your website AGAIN. Goedekers.com is similar to but not the same as Goedekers Number One Direct.
NO WHERE does it state that the only thing on-site is appliances and furniture. Even as I click on the blender I was thinking about (that I ended up buying somewhere else on my way home) I notice that it doesn't say that it's only sold on-line.Before you think to yourself "how stupid could she be that she thought that all these items could be in one location?" Let me answer that for you. First, I remember your store being referred to as a Superstore and second, I do not live in Ballwin. I have never been to your store.
I find solace in the fact that the money I spent "winning" the gift cards went to a worthy cause, but I am truly unhappy.
