great food great chef. I have been to tokyo steakhouse a few times and the food was soooooooooo delicious and the chef makes even more entertaining. I highly recommend chef AZAA!! he's the best, in fact he's the only one who can do the best hibachi show. make sure you check it out!!!

Great Japanese Cusine with a Great Good-Time Atmosphere!. If you?re looking for great fresh-prepared food and a great time this is the place. We have never been disappointed. We have been going here for 5 years and the food and service is excellent. The decor is dated, but the great food & hospitality out-weighs all that. I assure you that by the end of your evening it will add to the charm of your fine dining experience.

ALWAYS THE BEGINNING OF A FABULOUS NIGHT!. We love this place. We've tried one of the local and chains and will not go anywhere other than Tokyo again. The amount of food is more than any one person can eat, I especially love the noodles...I'm not usually one to go for noodles! You can get the special with shrimp, chicken, and steak for about $28. Not bad. The staff are always entertainment...We also like Philip..but they are all great...Ishi the owner usually does the singing and on request will do Happy Birthday in some other language! Highly recommended! Not the fanciest and probably quite dated but well worth it!

Very fun place for regulars, even better after a few Zombies. I read the previous review of Tokyo Steak House and I guess I have a very different take. Yes, the atmosphere is dated and you do smell like the grease from the tables when you leave but that's just the start of the charm of the place. If you go enough to find a chef you prefer, request him. We love Philip and Mario but all are great. I prefer the food here to the chains. You get so much! Mushroom based soup, salad with ginger dressing, vegetables, noodles and fried rice all accompany the main entree meat or seafood of your meal. At other Japanese style steak houses things like fried rice are extra and you have to choose between soup or salad. The combinations are great and come with up to 3 proteins of your choice (again, better than any chain restaurant I've been to).

The owner, Ichi, is funny and fun-loving. It's a treat when he accompanies the guitarist in a Japanese song or when they sing happy birthday to a celebrant in your group.

One of the biggest draws for me at Tokyo is their Zombies. I can never remember what all goes into one (or much else the next day) but they are delicious an incomparable to any drink I've had at a restaurant bar. The tempura never disappoints and you always go home full or with leftovers in hand.

Also, we've gone several times with large groups and there's never been a problem. Occasionally on the weekends we might call ahead to warn them. I've been with several children there and they all have enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

Go and see for yourself the next time you're craving hibachi style cooking.

Not worth the price tag. First, don't expect many typical chef shows. The restaurant looks very old, and you can see the dirty kitchen. The live band adds a bit value to the place. The food quality is so so... It's as expensive as other steak houses. However, I'd prefer to go to a nice looking one like Kobe steakhouse instead.
