West County's Queeny Park is home to this busy rec center. Here you'll find an outdoor Olympic-size pool, indoor ice-skating rink, eight unlit tennis courts and an outdoor in-line skating rink. The pool's open during the summer, the ice rink during the winter. It's best to call ahead because both are used for lessons.
Events Greensfelder is the home of Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra's Queeny Pops Concerts. (This series takes place during St. Louis' sweltering summers, but don't worry, Greensfelder's air-conditioned.) The annual Monsanto Greater St. Louis Science Fair, McDonnell-Douglas Gem & Mineral Show, Art Happening and a plethora of graduations, concerts and exhibits also call the Complex home.
