WORST of everything!. This was my 1st (and last) time trying Romano's Macaroni Grill. The steak was tough, over-cooked and so stringy I could hardly cut it, much less eat it. As a side, I got 4 teeny tiny potatoe wedges that tasted old. The food took forever to get to me, even though there were only 4 people there at the same time as I. The online site advertises "honor system" wine, but after being seated, it was charged by the glass and was NOT cheap. Adding insult to injury, on looking at my credit card statement they added a *debit* transaction that was not authorized so I paid TWICE for the crappy meal! I will take this up with my bank. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

Worst Food Ever. We had bad food at this restaurant a couple of months ago. However, we had out-of-town relatives here last night, and they loved Macaroni Grill, so we decided to try it again. From the beginning, it was a nightmare. We ordered the hot spinach dip, and had to send it back because it had a bitter taste like it had vinegar in it. Dinner entrees were worse. Two had Eggplant Parmesan. They had to ask for a side of tomato sauce, as it was extremely dry. I had the Chicken Scallopini. Again, I had to send this back because it was absolutely swimming in butter...not a butter "sauce." It was like they poured melted butter over everything. Another person had Lasagna. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what meat was in this glop, but I imagine dog food must taste better. It's such a shame, because this used to be one of our favorite places for a nice meal. I'm sure there are others who feel that this restaurant has really gone downhill as the parking lot was only half-full on a Saturday night. Absolutely, positively will not go here again.

Can't Get it Right. We've been to many Macaroni Grills around the US and they are good. This one couldn't seem to get the order right. We asked for no mushrooms on an order - it came with mushrooms; we were told they had grilled vegetables and that was great, but the order came with steamed broccoli and carrots.

What a pain, especially at 9:30 pm when we were all exhausted.

not great. long wait, not bad service buy not good. long wait for food. i wouldn't go dine again, and i wouldn't recommend chesterfield's macaroni's grill.
