Encouraged by older reviews, I ordered take out for five people. We had orange chicken, veggie fried rice, crabmeat rangoon and pot stickers. The side orders were ordinary. The orange chicken was called "orange FLAVORED chicken" on the menu. True, it had a sour, hot taste vaguely reminiscent of orange, but nobody liked it very much. Maybe other things on the menu are better because the portions are generous and the meat was not of bad quality. But the cloudy green water in the foyer's aquarium was not very appetizing.
Good Chinese Food.
Before we moved out of the Creve Couer area, this used to be our favorite chinese food place; it still would be if we were a little closer to it. The actual restaurant is small, and not really much more than a few tables and chairs (with a bar and a TV included). But the food quality is easily amongst the best of all Chinese restaurants we've ever been to; be warned that metro St. Louis is full of really BAD Chinese food delivery places. FOr example, the pork in Summer Palace's pork fried rice is mostly pork (and not gristle like most other places).
