VERY NASTY RESTAURANT PRACTICES. We went to Talayna's on Saturday to celebrate my sister's birthday. We ordered a chef and house salad.

Well both were loaded with HAIR..We told the waitress(who was very inept) and she took the salad back and bought out a new salads, but we were scared to eat them at this point..because it was as if someone stoood in the back and combed their hair over the lettuce. The manager, who was there ,never bothered to come over to our table and say anything..We boxed up the new salad and took it home and low and behold when we went thru it there was hair in it too...I will never return to this NASTY/UNCLEAN place..Thinking about calling the board of health because obviously the workers don't wear hair nets!

Disappointing. Have been there two times, both times, the wine on the menu is not available. Had a restuarant coupon, no mention that wine was not part of the coupon, they would not honor the wine as the $50 price. We had to order food to go to meet the price required. Waitress not friendly or attentive. Food was just ok. Would not recommend this place, spend your money elseware.

don't waste your time (or money). So much for trusting reviews. I wanted to take my wife someplace nice. We were seated in the bottom of this empty place, the vinyl on the seats dates from the 60's and needs repaired or replaced.

The most dissapointing was waiting a long for our food to be serverd and than adding insult to injury -- the food was cold!

Much better places in St. Louis to go rather then spend good money on a marginal place.

Will not return.

Surprisingly great pizza!. If you are not a St. Louis native and loathe the local cracker crust pizza, you will LOVE the thick crust pizza here. We have a few other favorites in town, but this one caught us by surprise and now may be our absolute favorite. The dinner entrees such as ravioli were very good as well.

Cozy. This was the first restaurant we went to when we moved to St. Louis. The food is delicious, the atmosphere very cozy and the waiters are very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. This is a great place for a nice meal with your honey. The price is right too. We've been 3 times and never spent over $35 for the two of us.
