Very pleased and you will be too!. I have been a client of Saint Louis Salon and Spa for 2 years. I was sent to the salon by a friend who is a long time client.

All the employees are welcoming and helpful. I've never had a bad experience at this salon.

Infact I sent several friends and family member in.

AWESOME!!!!!. I loved this place! My hair was great, the spa was beautiful, and my esthetician, Michaela, was the best. Best place I have been to in a long time!

TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS!!!. I must agree with 2Busy,,,I cant even believe the review of karen58,,,,this sounds like sabatoge to me!!!!...My girlfriend and I have been customers of this spa for sometime now,,,I am appauled by this review...my experiences with this wonderful team of professionals has been absolutely amazing!!...The owners are the most caring and thoughtful...and i might add....beautiful women i have ever seen at a spa..I'm a guy,,,and straight fo sho...when I go to this establishment Iam treated with the utmost respect... from the time I enter and until the time I leave...my estitician,,Michaela is AMAZING!!!!!...every time I send my girlfriend in for her spa,,,it get plenty in return!!....if they were as this karen has said....I probably would be single fo sho!!!....I recommend this team of professionals to ANYONE....if the first lady needs a wax....she needs to come HERE!!!!.....THANK YOU to the team of wonderful ladies at the St. Louis Salon & Spa,,,,for keeping me in the HERO STATUS!!!!!!mahalo!!!!

I love this place!!. I just read the first review and I was compelled to write mine. I have met the owner, Sonya, as well. She introduced herself to me at my first visit. She did not appear to be "haggard" or "on something"; she is obviously attractive, warm and welcoming. I am a health care worker with many years of experience, and I know "haggard" and "on something". Does Karen58 have an ax to grind or something?

My stylist is Carrie; she's fantastic! My haircut is perfect, and I'm very particular about my hair. I receive compliments almost every day, even from strangers.

The salon is nicely decorated and clean.

I have found the staff to be professional, kind and efficient and not "fake" nice like may places. They all make me feel special. I always look forward to my appointments. You will too!

This place is NUTS!. I was so shocked by the service I received during my last and final visit which was a few weeks ago. I am new to the St. Louis area so I looked on line to find a place to get my hair done. I found this place and it wasn't that far from where I live so I thought I would give it a shot. I called to make my appointment and fortunate enough to get a very pleasant person on the other end of the line who took her time with me. I believe her name was Jessica. I went in for the appointment and was not greeted at first because there were some older blonde ladies behind the desk making plans for a trip or going out? I'm not sure, but my arrival did not stop them from their very important conversation so I went ahead and sat down. I sat there for about five minutes and then one of the blondes from the desk came over and said "who are you here for?" I said, "I'm not sure." She kind of rolled her eyes and said, "Well, what's your name?" She walked away, went to the computer, looked back at me and then went off somewhere. Never did she say, "You are with so and so, let me get them for you." She was a Bitch! So my stylist comes up and she seems a little out of it, so I follow her. She did an ok consultation, but took forever to do the whole process. I fealt like I was there for at least 3 hours. Who has that kind of time to spend getting their hair done? If you do, then this is probably the place for you. I unfortunately do not have time to sit somewhere and listen to someone not stop talking the whole time. Not to mention look around at how dirty the place is and how unprofessional everyone is. I was Shocked! I would have talked to the owner, but I later find out that she is one of the older blondes at the desk who was probably one of the most unprofessional of all. She comes bopping over with a giant fountain cup and says, "Hi, I'm Sonya. I own the salon." I was like ok great. She just looked really haggard and almost like she was on something. Really that was all she had to say because she was destracted by someone else, went over to them and they just started laughing and walked away.

I went to pay, could not wait to get out of there, and then I had to deal with the rude Bitch at the desk. I stood there waiting to pay and she asked, "did she tell you how much?" I said "no." She then rolled her eyes again, stomped off, got the total, comes back and runs my card. Has me sign my copy and that's it. No, have a good day, thanks for coming in. Hey, how was your experience? Would you like to book your next appointment? NOTHING! She was as friendly as a rabid dog.

While my hair processed I was taken on a tour of the spa. I'm sorry that is not a spa! It's a hallway with some poorly decorated rooms that looked like they could use a thorough cleaning. Then, I was introduced to some dark haired girl, I can't remember her name, who worked in the spa. She was nice, asked where I went for my eyebrows and I said I haven't found anyone yet because I just moved here. She offered to do them and I said I had to think about it. I didn't want to offend her, but her eyebrows were all messed up and I didn't want that to happen to me.

Maybe I had higher standards for the salon, or maybe their standards are too low. I saw a couple of girls who looked professional and had makeup on.They were beautiful girls who could probably work anywhere they wanted. They looked completely out of place!

I liked my hair, I just didn't love it!

Good luck to anyone who gives this place a shot, I'll be going somewhere else.
