Great place! Excellent service!

This place is great! I thought it looked a little out dated when I arrived, however the service was excellent and the cuisine is authentic. The server was very helpful. I wanted peking duck but it said on the menu that had to be order 24 hours in advance, but there was something else on the menu with duck in it and she had the cook prepare it similar to peking duck. I got my check and the prices are very reasonable, for great quality! I will be telling many friends about this place.

The food is almost always spot on excellet. I have been going to this restaurant for almost 20 years now and can tell you anything you want to know. To sum up, I have had issues with new servers occasionally (maybe 3 times at most that I can even remember - over 20 years). Now, to me that is a superior record that can almost never be beat. My main recommendation for people looking at this for a regular dining spot is to get to know your server (I know mine :) and try a variety of dishes. I have found that if I like the the way ingredients, sauce, etc sound on the menu, I am always always pleased with my meal.

I go every week or so (be there Sun. for late lunch) and still have several 'favorite dishes'. I'm not a seafood person, although others that go every time are and one or two have found their dish and never waver (got to try something new I think...). The menu is 6 or 8 pages long and contains over 50 entrees. Plus the possibility of crafting your own entree or even your own eggroll. My favorite appetizers are the eggroll, maybe some of the Hot & Sour (best in town) or the Sizzling Rice Soup - I always get 2 of the 3 each time.

For entrees they have everything from Seseame Chicken, Orange Beef, Peking Duck, Hunan Steak (yum), Shanghai Ribs (yum), Shrimp and Snow Peas (Bro's Fav), Mongolian Beef, Chow Mein, etc.... Plus the mix and match option for assorted meats, sauces, veggies, etc...make your own! Big fruit trays on your birthday :) At least on our last few visits...

I knew the original owner fairly well and am very happy to say his son, whom I went to high school with, has maintained a excellent familt tradition and as of yet I have seen no changes anywhere. Just as he left it, you might say.

from the create your own eggrolls to the spicy chicken everything is wonderful. The staff is sweet and so courteous. We hardly ever wait to be seated or to get our entrees. I love this place and its perfect for dates, family, and kids that enjoy the food. I have ordered take out many times without any mistakes! Kudos to them.
