Great Place to take a Church Group. When I was putting together a church group to take to the Florissant Fine Arts Council for a show, I asked them where to take the ladies for lunch. They recommended Hendels, and boy, were they right. We enjoyed a prearranged lunch in a great setting with great service. All the ladies enjoyed eating at a "different" kind of restaurant, different from the usual chains with the usual menus. Easy to find, yet off the "beaten path." Highly recommended.

Excellent Place to Go. We found Hendel's during the Florissant tour offered through FloValley. We have been going there ever since. We have a standing date for St. Patrick's Day for corned beef and cabbage. We have never had a bad experience there. Service has always been superb. Food is always outstanding. Seldom do I get dessert, but I have it every time at Hendels. We have been there for Valentine's Day as well as Anniversary and Birthday celebrations. We always invite friends to try it out, some have continued to go there after being with us. Great food and great atmosphere!

ONE OF THE BEST PLACE TO EAT. GREAT CUSTOMER SEVICE ALL THE WAITER AND SERVER'S DO A REALLY GOOD JOB.

THE CHEF IS AWSOME. THE SEA FOOD I HAD WAS THE BEST BESIDE THE STEAK, THEY HAVE A GOOD WINE LIST SO GET YOUR FRIENDS ARE WHO EVER GO TO

H.M.C. ORDER SOME WINE AND GOOD FOOD AND YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD TIME.

great place!. I had a great time last night. The garden is the best in st Louis. My steak was the second best I ever had, and my picky wife loved her chicken. Very cozy and relaxing, Everyone deserves a great dinner.

Hendel's for Lunch. Six of us recently had lunch at Hendel's on Saturday afternoon. Atmosphere was wonderful, food was tasty, portions sizes good, service was less than stellar. We had been seated about 10 minutes before our server came to our table. Throughout lunch, we had to ask to have drinks refilled.

The restaraunt was only about half full.

Each of us had different sandwiches, some had soup on the side.

Would I go there again? Yes but I would offer an incentive to the server.

Highly Recommended. Hendel's is a recent discovery to us and it is quickly becoming our favorite restaurant! Our first visit - about 1 month ago- service was excellent. Food terrific. Manager came over to greet us. I suggested an appetizer they could add to their menu. He had it made for us and it was promptly brought to our table. Food is excellent. Service is usually excellent (although a bit slow tonight - Valentine's Day). Could use some nice music - live music would be a nice addition.

Classy eats in Florissant. Amazing atmosphere, innovative bacon salad dressing (although the salad was smallish), great meals (esp. the crab cake). The portions were a bit on the small side, but overall, a great dining experience.

fabulous. This restaurant has the best outdoor dining in St. Louis!! Beautiful gardens set the mood for dining at this historical site, originally built in the 19th century as a general store. Sit in the cool shade near the pond for a relaxing lunch, Sunday brunch or romantic dinner. Prices are moderate, the wine selection is excellent and the service is pleasant.
