No longer just the gateway to the West, St. Louis boasts an airport that makes efficient, traveler-friendly use of its two terminals and five concourses. Nearly two dozen passenger airlines conduct flights from the domed facility to destinations worldwide. Closer to home, self-serve fax machines and rental workstations facilitate business travelers; moving walkways and free inter-terminal shuttles transport people more quickly to their boarding gates. The airport is about to begin a major expansion in an effort to court more opportunities within the airline industry and beyond.





Diversions


Far from all work and no play, Lambert Airport features a full-service salon, two massage stations, popular chain retailers and restaurants like Trailhead Brewery and California Pizza Kitchen. History buffs should check out Charles Lindbergh's personal plane (not the "Spirit of St. Louis") in the main terminal and two murals near baggage claim.
