Great food, decent prices!. Went to lunch there on a Sunday afternoon. No wait (we were first ones in the door). Ordered Olive tapenade - delicious! And it was $5-$6, very reasonably priced appetizer (5 people split it just fine). I had the salad with house dressing and again, very good! For my meal, I had the jumbo crab stuffed ravioli with pesto Alfredo sauce and it was so, so delicious. (You get 6 ravioli, I split with a friend so had 3 and it was plenty filling). I can't rave about the food enough!

The only thing I would have changed is I wish the waitress had told us we were getting bread with the meal (a nice surprise but when being careful with money it's good to know) and ice cream with each meal (again a nice surprise). The waitress was very nice and accommodating and had no trouble splitting up the tickets.

I do think they should offer a couple other desserts (besides a chocolate cake and mud pie) but the spumoni was very good! I also didn't think the bathroom was all that nice/clean - especially considering we were one of the first to use it.

But if I could go back today and order what I did Sunday, I would in a heartbeat!

Great deal!. You get a TON of food for a price that is right in line with any other restaurant. You get a drink, your main meal, salad or soup, rolls, and ice cream all for the price that you can just get a main meal somewhere else. It may not be the best quality italian food in stl, but it is still certainly very tasty! Nice, unique atmosphere. Big establishment so I've never had a wait a real long amount of time for a table.

Horrible. Horrible service and an apathetic manager.

The best pasta and ambience in st. louis. The old spaghetti factory is a st louis tradition. I remember going here with my family when i was a little boy and now i bring my own family here! The pasta is simply the best in st. louis. Their sodas are top notch also. The decor is gorgeous - they just don't put as much thought in modern buildings! You cant go wrong with the old spaghetti factory from the price to the decor to the staff!

Never again. Never going back.We had to move from our table for reasons i won't say.The sever had to move us because our waitress was no where to be found. He replaced our salads and made sure we where taken care of.The manager never came over and they wanted us to pay full price. The sever was the best, we gave him the tip, a big one and the waitress got nothing.Again i can not say what happened but we will never step foot in this place again. The food is nothing to write home about.Had fast food better than what they serve.

I have had way better!. I was no where near impressed with the food. The establishment was picture perfect, beautiful, and exciting. The food is where the problem was. The meat sauce for the spaghetti horrible. My girlfriend had chicken marsela, which she sent back. The lasagna was plain and had that disasterous meat sauce. But the salad dressing for the salads was great. I would not recommend this place, for food, to anyone.

I love this place.... We go to the location in the Chesterfield Valley. I still love the manager's special, with meat sauce and mazithra cheese. The Old Spaghetti Factory is just a great value. Good food, good price. Highly recommended for families.

Kitschy Italian restaurant churns out heaping plates of pasta that won't break the bank.. In Short
Whimsical antiques and decorative items--velvet armchairs, vintage-looking fringed lamps and booths made from iron bedsteads--fill the dining room. The OSF Classics menu offers spaghetti with a choice of mushroom sauce, rich meat sauce, browned butter and feta-like mizithra cheese sauce, and more. Other popular favorites are the baked lasagna--layers of noodles, tomato sauce and four kinds of cheese--and the fettuccine Alfredo. Meals include a green salad, fresh-baked bread and ice cream.

Bad service and mediocre food.. The service was very slow and we weren't even there at a busy time of day. There were empty tables all aound us, but it still took 20 minutes to just get water. The food was mediocre at best. The building was beautiful, but between the service and just ok food, I won't be heading back anytime. There are much better places in St. Louis to go eat...

First time there. This was my first trip ever to St.Louis and I had a blast. We had a long wait because we were late getting there and there was numerous very large parties there that evening. Eventhough there was a long wait the bar was easaily accessable for soft drinks and such. Once we were seated we were prom;ptly greeted by our server and it just so happened that it was his first nite and we were his very first table. A tabke of 12 women at that. The server remained pleasent thhrough out the whole night and the Manager checked in on us quite frequently. The food was great. The only thing that I was not pleased with was the dip that came with the flat bread. It was a little to salty for me. But all in all we had a great time. I will definately go back there again.
