Terrible. One of the worst restaurant experiences I ever had. The service was poor, the food was average at best, and the price was high. I don't mind paying a lot of money for good food, but this place was not worth it. My wife and I had a 8 oz filet, a salad and a glass of wine and our bill was $120. We ordered our steaks medium, and they came out rare, when we finally tracked down our rude waiter, and brought this to her attention the steaks came back burned beyond recognition. The $7 salad consists of half a head of iceburg lettuce (not even chopped up) half an egg and some bacon bits. If you want good steak, go to Kemols, Sams or Dierdorf and Hart's.

Everything a la carte. Expect to drop some bills at this disappointing steakhouse. I took my girlfriend there on New Years. We didn't have reservations, but they said there'd be no problem seating. We had to wait but didn't mind because of the piano player and drinks. It still took over an hour when they said it would be about 10 minutes. When we went to check on our table, they said they didn't have our name down and they weren't apologetic about it. The food was good but everything was a la carte. The service was horrible for the price and supposedly their reputation. I've had better waiters at Denny's. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Exceptional. This restaurant is a very good kept secret in St. Louis. It is the only 4 diamond steakhouse in the St. Louis area. I think that the rating of this restaurant says all there is to say.

Never again. Very disapointing! The food was ordinary, the wait staff slow. Not a place I will go to again. My 16 oz. Ribeye was half fat, my wife's was under cooked. Not what I expected at all.

Save your money!. A major disappointment. Given the high prices (steaks $22-30, a la carte), you would have expected an excellent level of service. They wait staff was not polished and did a mediocre job of servicing the table. Incredibly, they were out of the two bottles of wine that I initially ordered. For my second order, they were out of one of two! Also, they did not have one of their steaks available! The food was mediocre as well. Stuffed mushroom caps were not fully cooked. Steak was not properly cooked - requested medium/rare and received medium. The only positive thing I can say is that my soup and salad was excellent. For this type of experience, save your money and go to Tuckers in Soulard.

Great Steak. The steak that I had here was great and I would recomend this to everyone!
