Good Music. BB's is a good place to listen to some live music and have a drink or 3. I went on a Friday night at 10pm, and all of the tables by the stage were taken, so we had to listen from the bar for a bit while we waited for some seats to open up. The music was very enjoyable, and the bartenders were quick and polite. The average age of the crowd was around 30, with a few younger groups and a few older groups. There was a mix of couples and groups of friends as well. The band played until 2:30 AM, but it seemed to get a lot less crowded after 12-1 or so.
Awesome Sweet Potato Fries!. Friendly and courteous staff. I recommend the Sweet Potato Fries!
B.B's. This is the best place to go and hang out with family and friends. The food is good, the people are nice and friendly. The JAzz and Blues is the BEST I have ever heard in years. Especialy the guy at the door that collect the $5 bucks to get in B.B's is a great host for the place. He was very friendly, knowledgable of the place, wonderful smile when we first walked in to the place. My family and friends are planning to hang out there for the NEW YEAR. Thank you BB's for a wonderful time:)
This charming, raucous club venerates St. Louis blues with paint-peeling sounds and a comfortable bar-food menu..
In Short
BB's, as the name implies, is fervently dedicated to honoring and promoting local blues. The club has played host to a Who's Who of St. Louis blues royalty, including country blues legend Henry Townsend and Howlin' Wolf sax player Oliver Sain. Monday nights often bring the Sessions Big Band, a loose consortium of brass musicians. A menu of homey favorites--burgers, pizzas, salads, sandwiches and, yes, soups--keeps patrons' stomachs as satisfied as their ears.
Food for your body, Music for your soul. The music moves you and besides great dinner specials their kitchen is open til 2AM!
